These are about my favorite thing!! I am a swimmer and music is a game changer- the sound is awesome!. I don’t have any mp3s yet so I’ve been using Bluetooth . As long as I stay on the surface it works just fine- the music goes out when I flip or dip. Otherwise, I just throw my phone on the side of the pool and go! My typical pool is 25 m and I have no problem with range. Easy to connect to your phone. Battery lasts for a good long time! They’re great for talking on the phone when they’re dry, sometimes speaker can be affected if they’re wet. I have two pairs and use them all the time. I’m happy I didn’t get the expensive ones. I absolutely love these! Have been great for swimming, but also wearing them just walking around. Sound quality is great. Controls are easy to operate. Easy to link to my phone and easy to download music onto the memory. I am amazed out how well the microphone works for phone calls, people have told me it is clearer then my iphone mic. Read more
Works better than expected, 4/5 overall and great for the price. Pros: Can hear music clearly in both Bluetooth mode out of the pool and in SD card mode underwater. Simple to transfer mp3s when plugged in. Does exactly what you need it for. Cons: Controls are a little laggy and it would be nicer to have a strap to ensure it stays on your head. I've been using these for about a week while lap swimming. Much less expensive than the Shokz Open Swim Pro, but with likely lesser features, though I've not used the Shokz. Sound quality is good in and out of water, and I do not use earplugs while swimming. Overall, they do the job well, are comfortable to wear even with swimming goggles, and the controls (3 buttons) are very basic but easy to use. When turned on they default into bluetooth mode, but a simple double click of the multifunction button switches them into MP3 mode. I've not used them in bluetooth mode as I like my Apple AirPods Pro for out-of-water sports, etc. When connected to a computer, the headphones appear as an external disk. I primarily listen to podcasts while lap swimming, and finding the files to manually download onto the player was a bit confusing at first. There are applications that make the process more user friendly, but they all (in my opinion) cost too much for what they deliver. On the MacOS using the Apple podcast app, the podcast cache files are likely located in a 'hidden folder': ~/Library/Group Containers/243LU875E5.groups.com.apple.podcasts/Library/Cache. May be different on your computer. Once you find it, the file names are all long alpha-numeric strings, all with the filetype '.mp3'. By right-clicking a file, and selecting 'Quick Look' from the pull-down menu, you can sample the file to determine what podcast episode it is. Select the file(s) you want on your headphones, copy (command-c) the files, and then paste (command-v) them to the headphones connected to your computer. IMPORTANT-- do not drag & drop the files as this will mess up your podcast app's database because of the now missing files from its cache. Other computer operating systems and/or podcast apps will likely have different ways to accomplish the task. Read more
The open-ear bone conduction design is comfortable and practical. I can still stay aware of my surroundings when running or training outdoors, which feels much safer than traditional earbuds. The secure fit holds well during swimming, running, and gym workouts without slipping or needing constant adjustment. Read more
Update 2: Same issues occurred after just one trip to the pool. These fit my head better than any others I've tried so I really wanted them to work. Their customer support did reach out and offer to replace or refund them, but I've already refunded via Amazon. I'm going to give the 'name brand' that costs over 3x more a shot. Update 1: Well, as other reviewers mentioned, it's stopped working. At first, it would get stuck playing and I couldn't turn it off. Letting it die and then recharging it worked for a day or two. Now, it's like the volume up / next track button is always being pressed, even though it still feels clickly if I do press it. The biggest issue is that now I get three words per chapter and it skips to the next file. Since many people seem to still love theirs, I'm hoping this is just a bad pair. I'm returning these for a replacement. Original Review: This is the first set of bone conduction headphones that feel like they fit me well. The included adjustment band really helps keep them right where I need them in the pool. It took a little while to get used to the sound change when my head goes above and below the water, but it's no big deal now. I love being able to listen to an audiobook while swimming. In MP3 mode, you can choose shuffle or continuous. I keep it on continuous, and the audiobook picks up right where I left off, even in the middle of a chapter/file. Read more
