I really like this kit. A lot of the second hand PSPs are missing the battery cover and come with no battery or one that's so old it barely works. This is nice kit for a PSP 1000 or 1001, giving you everything you need to get going. I've seen other complain about the silicone skin/case for the PSP, and its fine for what it is. I in general don't like these type of cases, especially on the PSP where the buttons and d-pad don't stick out as much as on other handhelds. With the skin on, it can be hard to press. Another odd thing is the screen protector says it is specifically for a PSP 3000, even though this is a kit for a PSP1000. But not a big deal in reality, as the screen sizes are the same for all 3. Like with most third party batteries, I'm pretty sure the capacity is greatly overstated. It will not last as long as the (no longer manufactured) OEM battery, but it does work. Been using this kit for a month and it’s been super handy. The battery itself fits and charges fine, and I get roughly 5 hours of continuous gameplay out of a single charge. The included USB charger is convenient for charging off a power bank, and the AC adapter stays at home. The replacement battery door is a lifesaver too since my original was cracked. That silicone case is just...not great. But, everything else, the charger, the battery, the battery cover, all fantastic! You're getting a great kit here for the money, all things considered. The charger does feel pretty light, but that's sort of the era we live in now. Chargers don't need to be necessarily weighty. Everything functioned well after doing the battery swap, and the battery cover feels fairly durable. It fit right into place after removing the old one, so no issues there. The silicone case is just...it's almost useful, but just not great. First of all, if you ever want to swap UMDs, you can't until you remove the case. The rubber just covers everything, making it impossible for the tray to open. Now, I did try to modify it and make it work by cutting out the tray slot from the back of the case, but that made the case too flimsy, and prone to tearing, so I gave up on that. Still, all things considered, this is a great kit, and if you downloaded the majority of your games and don't need to use the UMDs anymore, you might even like the case it comes it. Read more
