i will say this is good if you do travel or carry the medicine here and there all the time. The box itself is only a medium size pill box. So if you have a lot of large size gel capsules, it may not fit all. That said the size should be sufficient for most people The exterior is metal shell, so it gives strong protection to what is inside. The design also ensure the pill box and pills inside will not be crushed or break open when put inside travel bag. This secures the pill box and avoid the mess in luggage or hand carry. The main downsize is it requires some force to push open and get the pills. It needs to push the inside box out in order to get pills for each day. Maybe it is designed to prevent the inside box from sliding out by accident. I would rather it has a latch/lock to prevent sliding out, but make it easier to slide out when open. This doesn’t bother me but certainly a hardship to some people with weaker hands. The inside box is basically still plastic. So it is possible after sometime the inside lid/cover may break after extensive use. Since i just got it, i can’t comment on how durable it is. If you take an AM and PM dose of medications, this may not be the way to go. However, it iS a great pill case. It's fun to use and the design is engaging. I like the fact that my pills won't be easily crushed even under a heavy item. I haven't tried running my truck over it but it might be able to survive. Maybe one day we'll try it. Read more
I have had my share of health issues and therefore, I take many subscription pills each day. Thirteen pills each day to be exact. They are a mixture of small to large tablets, and medium to large capsules. Thirteen pills are a lot of pills, especially when a few of the capsules are what most people refer to a horse sized tablets. Given the amount and size, I have had difficulties finding pill holders that would hold my full number of daily pills. The few that I did find that would hold all of my medications were either very bulky or not well made or a combination of those two things. The PULIV metal pill organizer is a breath of fresh air. Not only will each day hold all of my medications but being made of metal means that it is well made and isn't going to fall apart in two months. Even though it easily holds my thirteen pills in each day's container, it is not at all bulky. There is even room left in each day's container for a few more regular sized tablets or a medium sized capsule. While the manufacturer does not make any claims of it being waterproof, there is obvious rubber seals at either end of the container to help keep out water and moisture. If this did fall into the water, it would probably keep the water from getting to your pills for about 5 minutes. That is more than enough time to fish it out and take a towel to the exterior. Overall, this is a solid product with plenty of room (it does not separate daytime and nighttime for each day though) for lots of medications and it isn't going to fall apart anytime soon. Read more
This thing is a TANK. Great for traveling as the aluminum case will ensure nothing gets crushed or that the compartments accidentally open up while traveling. With the slight difficulty to slide out, it feels like it's completely sealed and waterproof although I didn't try it submerged in water. I did run it under the sink and no water go into the case while closed, so the closure is nonetheless incredibly well done. It's a little pricey compared to other pill organizers, but it's tough to put a price on your medications/supplements if you rely on them and can't risk them being lost or destroyed. All in all, this is a very nice case that's very easy to use and would highly recommend for anyone that is serious about their medications or supplements. Read more
I was very surprised at the weight of this pill organizer. It is considerably heavy for what it is. It is very secure. You have to press in the sides on the end and pull out and then the pill part is exposed. The pill organizer has seven different compartments for each day of the week Monday through Sunday, actually Sunday through Monday. They are about the normal size of any other pill organizer you see as far as the compartments. It is really made of a very almost feels like metal, but I believe it’s just a heavy plastic on the outside and the inside of is made also a pretty heavy plastic. It seems like it’s pretty durable and you could drop it and it’d be fine. I think the favorite thing of mine about the whole organizer is that it’s secure. It’s the first one that I’ve seen that is supposed to be “child proof“. It really looks like a sleek little piece of something. You cannot tell it is a pill organizer at all when you just look at it and it’s altogether. It’s a great size to fit in a pocket of front pocket, a pocket of a purse, a small purse anything it’s it’s fairly small. It’s a great value for the listed price. I would definitely recommend it for anyone with children or anyone that you would like to keep out of your medication or make it a little more difficult for them to access your medication. Read more
