I have one of those pull up bars that go onto the door frame and wanted some resistance bands to do more assisted pull-ups for lighter sets. This fit the bill quite perfectly. Installation/setup was a breeze. The instructions have you set up the included belt and slide it through the buckle, with helpful pictures to show you the proper orientation. Then the clip-on foot supports and resistant band(s) go on in a carabiner system. I've tested with the 50lb-100lb bands and they work like a charm, giving upward tension/support to help with my pull-ups. The bands and clips are sturdy and I have no fears of them breaking or loosening/adjusting during my workout. I also tried the velcro hand grips and they are easy to put on and work as promised - my pull-up bar already has padded foam grips but these on top provide even more comfort and prevent my palms from getting calluses. A final bonus is the included bag to hold all the bands and clips - I frequently swap between non-assisted pull-ups to assisted so they're not always in use, and a bag is perfect to hold everything in one organized place. Highly recommended. (Photo 1 is the setup on my pull-up bar, with 50lb band and foot supports, Photo 2 is the remaining bands, grips, and bag) Read more

I’ve been using this pull-up assistance band set for about a week now, and I’m really impressed. The setup was straightforward, and the straps feel sturdy and safe. I really like that it comes with multiple resistance bands so I can adjust the support depending on my progress. The foot rests are a game-changer compared to regular resistance bands—it feels way more stable and comfortable during pull-ups. The quality of the material is solid, and everything feels durable. I was worried it might slip or not hold my weight, but it’s been super reliable. It’s definitely helping me build strength and confidence with pull-ups. If you’re like me and struggling to do unassisted pull-ups, this is 100% worth it. Feels like a personal spotter at home. Read more

I’m a 65-year-old male that still lifts weights 4 times a week as part of my fitness regime. I have lifted off and on most of my life and for some reason that I don’t remember, dropped pull-ups years ago. Recently, I started thinking about adding them back to my routine. At my next workout, I hopped up and grabbed the pull-up bar, thinking I could at least get a couple, and….no dice. I hung there struggling to get my chin over the bar for just one. I didn’t think hanging there was going to get me anywhere so I started looking at what I could do to help myself since I work out alone. I ran across this pull-up assistance kit and thought the concept was perfect for my goals, so I picked them up. When I received the assist bands, I couldn’t wait to try them because I had never used anything like them before. The directions were easy to understand, I set it up, looping the strap over the pull-up bar and running it through the clip (which held rock solid throughout.) I weigh 225 lbs., so I attached the 125 and 100 lbs. bands, attached the footrest strap and put my feet in, grabbed the bar, hopped up and gave it a shot. I could feel some weight taken off of me, helping me to pull myself up through a good part of the pull-up motion. I say “a good part” because the bands help, they don’t do it for you, which is the point and where the training comes in. They give you a chance to work more and more through the movement by allowing you to add or subtract bands/weight. Also, you can adjust where the bands help the most in the movement by how long or short you make the loop with the strap over the pull-up bar. Longer will help the lower end of the movement, a shorter loop will help the upper end of the movement. I’ve been using them for a week now, starting with all the bands attached (350 lbs.) I’m ready to take one off next week already. These things work great, but again, they assist, you still have to work through it. These are now a permanent part of my workout. I highly recommend these pull-up assist bands! Read more

The 125lbs band broke on the first try but the rest of the bands held up pretty good. Other than that no other issues. I’ve been trying to get in contact with seller with no luck. Read more
