This fits securely in the doorway. Weight limit of 150 pounds.

This is a great upgrade from our last doorway pull-up bar. It is more secure and stable. Fits well in the doorway causing no damage or scratches. The door trim should be about an inch in thickness, at least. Doorways should be 24”-33” across. Assembling was straightforward and easy. The product description page explains that the weight limit is 150 pounds, which seems on the low side. At 200 pounds, I feel like the bar holds me securely and in place. I wouldn’t go over that weight. My son is 140 pounds, and he says it feels very secure and strong for him. Officially, we are supposed to be no more than 150 pounds to use it without causing problems. The bar offers a lot of exercising varieties, and it can also be used on the floor for some exercises, like push ups. It can be stored easily having a low profile. The pull up bar is a good value. Too Much Flex For Me But A Great Starter/Test

Minus a star for just a bit more flex than I would have liked to have seen. It does do the job but it makes me a bit wary. Putting it together was super easy and intuitive. It does come with an instruction sheet and I might have glanced at it to make sure I had everything oriented correctly. Of course, I did. Obviously. For a typical width doorway, that image they have of the guy with his hands spread all the way out is unrealistic. The foam grips on either end are not long enough to get your whole hand around because it is too close the the door frame. The way I see it, this bar gives you two ways to do a pull up. The grips in the middle of the bar and the ones coming out towards you. It seems stable enough resting on the top trim and against the inside of the doorway, both of which share the load. There is a piece of metal in the box that you can further secure the bar at the top of the trim but it requires you to shove that in between the trim and the wall. Personally, I am not willing to do that. Guess I will take my chances but it does feel pretty secure without it. I think for the money, this is a good deal. I weigh about 200 pounds and I don't think I would recommend this to anyone over that weight. If I really get this in as a consistent habit, I will look into getting something much sturdier but for an intro into this type of exercise equipment, I don't think you can go wrong with this one. Easy to assemble. Easy to use.

This is my second pull up bar to own. These bars are great for upper body workouts and to stretch your back/spine. It shipped in its original box and comes with everything you need to assemble. It was easy to put together - just tighten screws. Once it was put together, it is sturdy and ready to attach to the doorway. I have larger doors, so it allows for plenty of room to use. It fits snuggly and securely over the top of the molding. It locks in place and has a safety. The handles are spaced out and the design helps you when doing pull ups. My son and husband are both 6’3” and weigh roughly 200 pounds. I’ve never been worried about weight or damage to my door frames. We leave it up but it could be easily taken down after each use. It does stick out from the frame so I would not attach it to a high traffic area. Read more

Sturdy pull-up bar that’s quick to set up

This doorway pull-up bar was easy to assemble, and the instructions were clear enough that I had it ready to go in a few minutes. Once in the doorway, it feels solid and stable with no wobbling when I’m doing pull-ups. The padded grips are comfortable and offer a few different hand positions for pull-ups, chin-ups, and neutral grip. It fits perfectly in my doorway. The metal frame and screws seem good quality, and it supports my weight without creaking or shifting. I also like that it can be taken down quickly and doesn’t require permanent mounting, so it hasn’t damaged my door trim. Overall, it’s a sturdy, convenient option for adding upper-body workouts at home. Read more

Sturdy but takes up space

Would be nice if it folded in flat on itself like other models I've had. You can disassemble it but you'd need to use the included tool and take precaution not to lose the hardware, as it doesn't include extras. That being said, it is sturdy and has no problem fitting into most common home doorframes. Comes with a securing jig to keep it in place, preventing it from wobbling or coming undone mid rep. The grips are comfortable enough, not too soft and so far hasn't left any marks on the doorframe. Would make a great backup bar, or to keep on a designated doorway where you don't plan on constantly removing the thing. Decent value for money, would def buy again if they redesigned it a little to make it easier to store away without disassembling it. Read more

No complaints, does what I need it to do

Simple and sturdy bar for anyone wanting to work out at home. I pretty much only use this for pull-ups, but you can also use it for crunches. It's super easy to put together, took all of ten minutes from box to doorway. It locks in place and comes with a safety wedge, which I use. I'm not sure how effective it actually is, but I use it in case. You just slip it into the trim, and it's supposed to help keep things from slipping. I've given it a few tugs and jolts, and it's never slipped or felt like it couldn't hold or support my weight. Read more

Great for spinal stenosis

We’re not using this for pull-ups. My husband uses it for dead hangs to help relieve spinal stenosis, and it’s been great. We got this to replace an inversion table that was taking up too much space. Setup was quick and straightforward, and once installed it feels very secure. He’s 6’5” and around 230–240 lbs, so being able to fully drop his weight is what gives him relief. This setup feels stable enough for our need and he’s been comfortable trusting it. Simple, solid, and doing exactly what we needed it to do. Read more
