I picked this one for the extra bar height and range of exercises it supports. The manual's diagrams and text makes it clear where to put bolts vs. nuts (and explains the purpose of the weld angles). Labels avoid confusing left with right parts. The ratcheting Allen wrench was a nice gift as well. Once the parts are tightened, it's easy to move if needed, but seems sturdy while doing pull-ups, dips, or leg raises. Read more
Box came with all tools, bolts and pieces. Easy set up. Would’ve been easier having two people. To get the pull-up bar poles in I have a skylight that gave me enough room to slip them in. Without that you had to lean the whole thing forward. Although with two people, even with one person, not too bad. Quality built. Sturdy. If you push it from side to side, there is a little bit of movement but if you’re using it for what it’s meant for it’s really nice. I like the feet of the machine. It feels more stable. I’m 5’9” on a good day with a pull up bar all the way to the top I can do a full hang with just my toes touching the ground Is the right height for me. For the price it’s a solid new addition. I was shocked to see that this piece of equipment was substantial and heavy. It is a quality piece to add to any home gym. Read more
I don’t usually leave reviews, but I had to for this one. This power tower absolutely blew me away. For the price, I was expecting something halfway decent—maybe a little wobbly, maybe something I’d have to baby a little. Nope. This thing is solid. Built like a tank. I weigh 230 lbs and it holds me like it ain’t no big deal. Assembly? Actually fun. That’s not a word I usually use for putting equipment together, but it really was. Everything was clearly labeled, tools were included, and the instructions were easy to follow. Just a heads-up though—make sure you look at the instructions. There’s one part that, if you’re just eyeballing it, you might think they welded it wrong. But nope—it’s actually a smart little design feature once you see how it all comes together. It’s one of those “ah-ha!” moments. Honestly, I feel like I got way more than I paid for. Sturdy, well-designed, and it doesn’t take up a crazy amount of space. I’ve been knocking out pull-ups, dips, leg raises—you name it—and this thing hasn’t budged. If you’re on the fence, go ahead and pull the trigger. I’m overjoyed with this purchase. I bought this for my husband, to replace his home made stand alone. He is 65 yrs old, 5'10" & weighs 170#, and works out 1-1.5 hrs daily for the past 25+ years. It works great, definitely pleased with the product. My granddaughter's boyfriend, who is less than half my husband's age, and built like the Hulk, tried it out, and it held up to him. Really good product. Read more
