This beautiful, colorful, 100% cotton throw was the perfect gift for our friend who loves Vincent Van Gogh’s Starry Night. The quality was excellent. I believe the price for this quality throw was fair. Other reviews mentioned the colors being muted but I thought the colors were perfect. If they would’ve been too bright it would have looked cheap in my opinion. Our friend loved her blanket, we highly recommended this throw blanket and look forward to purchasing other throws from this company. I only wish I would’ve taken a picture of it before gifting it. First of all, it arrived in clear packaging which I've literally never seen Amazon do, and that ruined the mother's day suprise. Secondly, the coloring on it is so beyond dull and faded compared to the image on here. Very disappointing.- I want to update this now since the seller reached out to me. I want to express that the blanket is still beautiful, and that the packaging was not their fault. It really is worth the money, but the colors on ours were duller than I was expecting based on the images. Laurie was very kind and completely spun the experience in a 180. Read more

Bought this as a birthday gift for my Starry Night loving husband, arrived earlier than expected and has been one of the most beautiful and well crafted items I’ve bought on Amazon. So well made, sturdy, but still soft and breathable and the colors are so vibrant! The thickness is great, will definitely keep you warm but at the same time like I said very breathable. Well worth the price! Great job! Read more

It adds a comforting atmosphere to the room! I have a Starry Night painting hanging on the wall of my bedroom, so it really adds a great decor to the room! I highly recommend Pure Country Weavers! Was really surprised by how nice this blanket is. Seems to legitimately be 100% cotton, not the softest but it has a nice weight and flexibility to it. Came packaged with care, without any set-in creases, and no chemical smell. I personally disagree with the reviews that say the colors are too muted. Tapestries will look different from images printed on polyester fabric because of the nature of the yarn. I've seen the painting in person, and think the blanket captures it well enough Read more

It is the size stated. It is made in USA. So, that's good. But, the threads have a sort of "dingy" coloring and the weave is very loose, so the whole effect of Van Gogh's masterpiece is really disappointing. It is definitely a thinner afghan (because of the loose weave) than you would expect for $50; it's almost as if it is woven with single strand embroidery threads in one direction and double strand threads in the other direction. There is a slight scratch to the fiber that I have not experienced with other woven afghans, which is odd for embroidery thread. I think it may be the loose weave that makes it feel like that. It does not look like it would hold up well in a washing machine. Maybe the washer will shrink the afghan and tighten the weave? I am not risking it for $50. This is being returned. Read more
