ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT!! This is my 3 try with an ear pillow. I suffer from right upper ear inflammation for almost a year. Been under derm care - had steroid injection, didn’t work. On a cream for inflammation. Anyways, as soon as I received this pillow I went to bed right away (insomnia). It came with 2 addition pieces so that you can adjust the height. I used it all and I still use a soft pillow under it. I have to say that the pillow cover is extremely soft and it’s designed to sit into the ear holes. Does not hurt my ear at all!’ And the pillow is not very firm, although I wish it were, but I still manage to sleep very well during the night. No need to keep readjusting my ear into the hole when it would touch in inner seams. I have been sleeping like a baby. And I hope this will finally allow my ear to heal. I might have gotten a defective one for so many 5 star ratings on here. I have had my pillow just under 60 days. Within the first few weeks, the pillow case developed a small hole on a seam and I thought it would hold up, but it has unraveled to the point I can barely use it now. I have reached out to the company and I will update accordingly, but for now, the price you pay isn't really worth it for this particular pillow, in my opinion, since I would expect a pillow case to last at least 6 months, not get a hole in the first couple weeks. As for the pillow itself, it's super soft. With SMA, I lay in one spot all night and cannot turn myself. Having the ear cut-outs has been amazing and has taken pressure sores off my ears. The ability to adjust the height with the firmer bottom layers helps my shoulder when it starts hurting (again, cannot roll over myself). Overall, the pillow itself is amazing, just it seems cheaply made. I see other people talking about the company reaching out and offering them help after sales, but I didn't get any info about after sales help. Again, I've sent them an email asking for help on my case issue and if I hear from them, I will update this. If the case falls apart like mine, I would say look for another similar brand that doesn't have this issue. Edit: They reached out immediately and more than made up for the pillow case. I am one of those who is always on the hunt for the perfect pillow, I probably spent $1,000 on pillows last year. I noticed my current pillow was starting to look a little flat. I have been having constant neck pain for the past 2 months and waking up with jaw and face pain. I noticed the Pure Comfort is shaped naturally how my pillow looks after a few months. It was also recommended for TMJ. I decided to try the standard firmness because I find some of the other cervical pillows are too soft for me. The first night I tried it as is, with all three layers, I slept the entire night and I woke up with very minimal neck pain, and no face or jaw pain. The second night I removed one of the smaller layers, it was not high enough for me and I added it back during the night. It's been a week now, my neck feels so much better, I'm getting better sleep (even dreaming), and my face and jaw don't hurt upon waking. I only gave it 4 stars because I wish it was a tad wider, I don't think it is going to hold up beyond a few months, and the cost for what you get. Starting in my late 40s, early 50s I would wake up many times throughout the night and first thing in the morning with terrible pain in the cartilage in my ears. I am a side sleeper and obviously a deep sleeper. Frequently the pain would be so bad it would actually wake me up out of a sound sleep, making me tired during the day. I asked my spouse if it happened to him and he said no. So I did a google search to see if it was just me! LOL Low and behold many suffer with this and it eventually led me to this pillow. I was skeptical for many reasons but all the positive reviews I read spurred me to give it a go! This is THE MOST COMFORTABLE PILLOW I have EVER used (and I have tried many!). ZERO ear pain. I sleep all the way through the night. My neck is supported. It's soft. it's adjustable (though I use all the inserts). The pillow case is soft. I just LOVE it. Seriously life-changing. And the owner of the company emailed me personally to check in, offered me a second free pillow case as a thank you...then realized she was out of them and gave me a 5% refund without my asking, plus promised to send the second pillow case as soon as she gets more in. Purchased this pillow a couple of weeks ago. Could not be more pleased. I suffer from an ear pressure sore that has been very painful for over a year waking me up at night. I tried everything, from home remedies, to my Dermatologist who recommended cortisone cream to steroid cream, to freezing the area. She also recommended sleeping on a pillow with a hole in it to keep my ear elevated. I purchased 2 different pillows, but neither one worked and I still woke up at night in pain. Finally I found the Pure Comfort Pillow and I must say that finally this was the best purchase I ever made. This pillow is so comfortable and the best feature is it has two holes so you can turn over at night and keep the pressure off both ears. I very seldom write reviews about products, but I can honestly say I have been able to sleep all night without waking up in pain. And, the pressure sore it definitely on the mend. Once this pillow is back in stock, I plan to purchase another pillow to use for travel. If you suffer from ear pressure pain that has developed into a sore on the outside rim of your ear, I definitely recommend this pillow for you. Read more
