Our 6 month old puppy came to us with stomach and regurgitation issues, and developed terrible separation anxiety while she was sick to the point where she couldn’t be left alone for a second without crying and barking. She wasn’t sleeping properly and would whine for attention around the clock. We have been giving her Calming Care for about 3 weeks now, and suddenly it’s like a switch was flipped. She goes in her crate voluntarily, she naps peacefully throughout the day and doesn’t freak out when I leave the room. She sleeps through the night in her crate outside of our bedroom without an issue. I really think this product has contributed to reducing her anxiety, along with a steady diet and a healed gut. Highly recommend you give it a try. Read more

We have an anxious golden retriever that often struggles with separation anxiety. Rather than go with prescribed medication, our vet recommended we try the Calming care to help with comfort and overall gut health benefits. We have noticed a gradual increase in anxiety energy level changes to a calmer version of our golden. Our dog loves the flavor and smell as well drop the powder on her daily food. Additional benefits of this supplement is decreased anxiety and overall better health longevity for fury family member. Read more

We use thus for our new rescue dog. I sprinkle half on his breakfast food and half of a packet on his evening food. It took about a week to get the full effect but it works. When our dog sitter came over she noticed the difference. Read more

Well I have mixed feelings about this product ... I bought it to help calm my Alaskan malamute who was having separation anxiety that led to him having diarrhea... But this gave him worse diarrhea... So after 3 days I stopped giving it to him ... he seemed a bit calmer and his poops were normal again ... So I only give it to him once a week and this seemed to keep him less stressed and his poops normal .. so I guess it was just too must change all at once for him ... He just needed less of it ... So it worked for us ... Read more

We could not sleep because our female shepherd could not sleep. The coyotes after almost 30 years I saw them in our subdivision during the day. And, at night I hear them howling. It’s been a rough winter here I am in Illinois 15 miles from Indiana. I understand it’s mating season. The hawk population has exploded out here. And we now have eagles. I haven’t seen many rabbits in years. They are hungry . I mixed this in a little milk and my shepherd drank it right down. After 3 days it worked. She’s small 52 pounds. She was trying to wrap herself around my head. All this happened when I just hit home from back surgery. Her fireworks meds didn’t work but this sure did Read more

This product has not provoked any significant change in my dog since starting it four months ago. I had high hopes as I’m a fan of purina pro plan products, but this just did not work as advertised. It’s a perfectly fine probiotic, it just has not had any effect on her anxiety levels. Read more

This supplement has done wonders for my mix pit with fear and high anxiety..this is not a magic powder that’ll make all the anxiety go away there has to be effort on the owners part to work and help their dog find ways to ease up during stressful situations..basic obedience and calming techniques have helped my dog for over 2 months on the supplement of course I work with him daily to put his fears and anxiety at ease..it is a great product and I have seen significant change in my big 1 year old pit..again with both of us working together along with the daily calming supplement had done wonders for him!! This probiotic works VERY WELL in perhaps most dogs. We are so much a product of what is colonizing our guts, human and beast alike! We don't even realize that what we eat AFFECTS WHAT WE THINK (this is an entire field of research and it is fascinating and well established!) This is a HIGHLY DESIRED PROBIOTIC, but PURINA IS CHARGING TOOOO MUCH FOR THIS PROBIOTIC ... (current pricing January 2024 is over a dollar a day! Available in January 2024 in other packaging for less than 25 cents per day!) ...simply because of their name, the perceived exclusive access, and some broth flavoring. >>> Instead, search for Probiotics Bifidobacterium Longum BB536 ... Available here on Amazon, and save yourself a lot of money, and send a message to Purina that we consumers can research medical literature and figure out that Bifidobacterium Longum BB536 is the EXACT SAME probiotic! Some bacteria have been given a different name in the past to now, the same as plants can have more than one botanical name -- actually they have an older name and a corrected updated name. It is common for example in te plant trade for nurseries to not give up an old botanical name and yet current scientific literature has the new botanical name. So one must know both names to learn accurate information about such particular plants. That is what is happening here. Research it for yourself if you desire on Google Scholar and other published science search sites. It did take me a day of research to figure it out, but I had a hunch that since I could not find this name ANYWHERE --- WHY IS THAT??? -- that there was perhaps another name at play. Why would Purina be the ONLY access to a particular probiotic??!!! That answer is: THEY ARE NOT THE ONLY ACCESS. And what else is happening here is that Purina has found a lifesaving control for anxious pets, and priced it obscenely high. Search for BB536 and save yourself a heap of money. Break open the capsules and sprinkle on pet's food. Watch their calmness levels increase. Highly recommend the probiotic. I do use other of Purina's products for quality at a decent price. Wake up Purina and stop gouging the public. Read more
