I really wanted to like this, I heard great things about it for sensitive skin. Not sure what in the ingredients list would cause this, but it really irritated my skin and made me red. It took a few days post-test managing with just witch hazel and aloe for my skin to calm back down too. I have very very sensitive skin, to the point where I'm even reactive to rice water and niacinamide, so I'm not too surprised something in this moisturizer set my skin off. Anyway, I really liked the feel of it at first. Nice smooth gel consistency that soaks in well and it did seem to hydrate me nicely before it made my skin all angry. This is a great moisturizer. I'm so happy to be able to add another product to my FA safe list. Since it's so lightweight you can layer anything on top seamlessly. The only downside (for me) has been during the winter months. Depending on my hydration habits and the cold air, it doesn't permeate the dry patches I get on my face enough. I often had to set it aside during morning and night routine and opt for a thicker lotion (Almond Clear). I can't wait to use it in the summer months, though. I want to put this first, I live in central Texas, so I recommend this lightweight moisturizer for people who live in very humid areas. I have searched far and wide for a good, gel moisturizer for my mixed dry and oily skin. Most either left me with odd residue on my face, or caused me to have pimples. I wash my face when I shower, and prefer to wipe my face with wet wipes in between (not a fan of getting my face wet unless I’M completely wet). Right when I get out, I apply the cream. And my face STAYS HYDRATED AND SUPPLE. No extra oils, no random dry or flaky spots, I haven’t had my skin feel this soft since I was a kid! I even had my period and didn’t get my normal hormonal pimples. Insane! I usually break out SO bad on my chin at that time. I didn’t have a SINGLE PIMPLE. it is a little sticky/ velvety on my hands after application, so I just wash my hands off with water, and it’s fine! It has a very slight scent, but it’s definitely not an issue. Easy to apply, just put a small dollop on your fingers. For the size of the tube, and the small amount I usually use, the value for money is well spent. I finally found my forever cream!!!! I just hope it never goes away. Read more
