Oh my lawd that taste. It’s so disgusting. Does it work? Oh yes. It got tough stains off that had been there for years. Killed an infection in conjunction with other antibiotics and care. It helped me get my gum pocket cleaned up after having no dental care for a year and needing to upkeep a deep clean. I put on a flosser and floss with it. Then I leave it on for fifteen minutes, rinse with pulling oil and then wait another fifteen minutes, then brush my teeth with a tooth powder and this stuff combined. I got a good “just left the dentist” clean and my hygienist was shocked when my -6mm pockets in my front teeth on bottom regained 4mm to a -2mm pocket and no calculus (tartar) buildup I also brush with stannous fluoride at .4% prescription strength, which helps. Adding the fluoride is necessary but I do so carefully. It’s an easy thing to not do part of a regular routine but to have periodontal inflammation hurts, and this helps prevent it and to take care of some topical swelling. It also helped me with perpetual dry mouth due to medication. I use with pulling oil before bed and it’s great for that. Overall, good quality and does what it should. Listen to the people that say how horrific this stuff tastes!!! I’m a low maintenance gal. I can stomach most anything if it has a purpose. I have two areas of gum damage from dental procedures. Don’t even get me started on that topic. Honestly, I would rub a little €#%$@ on my gums if I thought it would help heal these spots. So I am trying this stuff - but it actually makes me gag. No essence of cherry anywhere. Tastes like rancid petroleum. I can’t even find a word to describe it. It’s awful. I’m going to try it a bit longer - but I honestly wonder what on earth is in this stuff that tastes so bad. Hope it doesn’t kill me. lol. Jury is still out. I will update if I get a miracle.
