I was hoping that this would work to restart playing after a few decades. It kinda does. The lip plate seemed uncomfortable and I got some flute stickers that helped some. Getting even a recognizable tone out of it was often unusually difficult. Several times a day, I produced mostly just bluster that I could not even vary the pitch on. I found no air leaks. On a hunch, I replaced the head with https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07PVFRY6X and it helped quite a bit. In comparing the two head joints, I found the lip plate wasn't quite in the same positions. I have so much to catch up on that I'm keeping it for now, but correcting my aperture is no longer an immediate goal. Read more
