I have been really impressed with this. I'm a woman size 16 on top and the woman's size vest didn't go up big enough for me. I probably would have done better with the XXL but the XL works pretty good for me. I really like the snaps - they are very sturdy and even when pulling very tight they hold well. much easier than zipper. Overall this is extremely well made. It looks like a regular vest so you can easily wear it whenever you want discreetly, which lets you have it as a great tool for workouts or calming/comfort wherever you want. I purchased it for calming and it works fantastic. It isn't too tight or heavy. It folds up relatively small and comes in a very nice travel pouch that makes it super convenient to carry around. It is somewhat heavy, so carrying it in my bag just to have with me everywhere might be a bit cumbersome, but having it in the car or office is very reasonable. I'll definitely be ordering another for my family member who loves weighted blankets. I think that this is a great value - it is a high quality product well worth the price.
