Been playing fighting games for a long time, own multiple sticks one of my favorites being the qanba crystal. I have just started giving leverless a try recently starting with a haute and while i love it the Sapphire fixes all my complaints with the haute i had (better lighting, button indicators on the faceplate, easy to access reset button in training mode) and so many additional features it even includes the tools to do everything, the rubber on the bottom is super grippy perfect for using on your lap or a tabletop. Even comes with a lanyard and the usb cable is the best quality ive seen so far. The switches are good I'll probably swap em to a silent type so i can play at nights. Fantastic, high quality controller that works flawlessly with both PC and PS4/5. I use this for tournament play and have been very impressed with the quality, feel, and features of this controller. Qanba has an excellent track record with FGC sticks and controllers, and they nailed the leverless style with this one. NOTE: a recent firmware update now allows you to map the same input to multiple buttons! This is a welcome feature that is tournament legal for most games, but notably NOT legal for most street fighter tournament. Check your rules before using! Read more

Pros - Works well - Adjustable buttons - Reliable software - Decent size and weight Cons - Build quality could be a little nicer - The acrylic top plate is a little thin, flexes more than some of my other sticks - The fixture points for the strap are attached to plastic and might not hold up long term - Acrylic top plate takes 11 screws to remove Overall I’ll pretty happy with the controller. It gets the job done and it’s a good deal nicer than some others. It’s mostly plastic though and might not be very durable long term. I feel like I could physically break it if I wanted to. The process of removing the acrylic top plate is pretty annoying. That could have been engineered a little better. It’s one of the cheapest options for PS5 natively leverless controllers so I can forgive most of the shortcomings. Read more
