The belt and socks are excellent quality and the maroon color is more of a deep dark Chardonnay color. The socks and belt combo I purchased were a 5-7Youth. The belt was pretty darn tiny, but my daughter is super petite so it will work for this season only as I don’t want to ship it back and wait for another order and I don’t have time before her games. I adjusted her belt to the longest setting and it is super small so if your child usually wears this size I might go a size up in the belt and sock sizing. The socks fit just right and are the right stretch and tightness around her feet and calves like I remember when I played as a youth. Bought this for my toddler and the socks are surprisingly wonderful quality. Thick and durable (socks and belt). Everything fit perfectly. I’d just be careful wearing the socks inside on luxury vinyl, for example, as they can be slippery (they obviously wouldn’t have grips on the bottom, so this isn’t indicating anything wrong with the sock).
