I purchased this cable to use in my work from home setup to connect my laptop to my laptop dock. While the cable does work, it randomly cuts out and drops connection for a few seconds and then reestablishes. While doing normal work, it just flickers the screen to black, disconnects, and then reconnects all within the span of a couple seconds, which is just a mere annoyance, but the real issue comes in when trying in a video conference or phone call. While in a video conference or phone call, when the cable drops the connection, it causes the microphone, speaker, and video camera to all disconnect or change to a different device, and interrupts all conversations. Even though the connection reestablishes in a very short time, it causes grief, frustration, and makes using the the dock for meetings unreliable. I originally took to disconnecting from the dock for meetings, but have been forced to remove the cable from my setup, due to it not being reliable, and reverting to the OEM cable from the manufacturer which has no issues. The cable works fine for charging and video transfer as long as you are willing to accept the many random disconnects throughout the day. I have taken to using this cable only for charging purposes, and it is far too expensive a cable for that. UPDATE: Received a replacement cable, and so far I have had no issues. The first cable must've been faulty, as the new cable works as expected, and I am extremely happy with my purchase. Read more
Not all USB cables will charge my iPad but this one does, it’s thick and durable, after using it daily for probably around six months it still looks new with no visible wear and works as good as the day I got it. The best thing is that it can charge my iPad despite being so long. I wanted a cable that would reach a wall outlet while laying in bed and this is perfect. It’s a little stiff but that means it doesn’t bend at the joints between the cable and the plug where most of my previous cables failed. I can easily recommend this cable without hesitation. I wanted a cable that can output video and this one does the job at a decent price, especially considering this one is also 5 ft long for a data cable. Even though I have an hdmi port on my laptop, it is very convenient being able to plug in just one cable to charge my laptop and display my screen on an external monitor. It's also nice having less clutter on my desk. The cable itself seems pretty durable. It's not very thick, but it's braided, so as long as you don't mistreat the cable, I think it should last a very long time. The cable looks much darker than the main product image, but honestly I don't mind because it looks pretty sleek. I did notice that the cable doesn't fit that snuggly when I plug it into my laptop, so it does wiggle near the port when you move the cable. If you look at one of my photos, you can see that the cable doesn't plug in all the way. It's not an issue for me though as I don't really move the laptop while it's plugged in. Read more

I originally was testing Windows 11 on a spare 256 GB NVMe drive (a Toshiba KXG60ZNV256G), via one of these USB C cable (bought to charge my wifes phone and tablet): https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07W4CXP6Y/ and this NVMe to USB 3 enclosure: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07MNFH1PX/ Using the Rufus "Windows to Go" option for Windows 11. Initially, while it worked AND was plenty fast enough, I noticed "hitches" and general slowness when using Windows 11 and starting various programs or just waiting for it to boot up. My motherboard is an MSI MEG Unify x570, and the USB-C port on the back panel IO side support USB 3.2 Gen 2 (front connector is USB 3.2 Gen 1), so I have the full speed support. Swapping out to this cable, all of the weird hitches are gone, and Windows 11 boots up about as fast as being installed normally onto an SSD attached to the motherboard via SATA/NVMe. The SSD being used isn't the fastest in the world (I took it out of my wifes laptop from 2018 to put a better, faster one in), but it gets the job done. Transferring a 2.5GB video file to/from the drive from one of my NVMe 4.0 drives is nearly instantaneous. Attached is a benchmark I took after I upgraded the USB-C cable. Didn't think to benchmark the previous cable. Aloha. Read more

I was disappointed with this cable because the connection is too loose. It would disconnect from my devices very easily. Everything else about this cable is fine, fast transfers. Seller gave a full refund due to the issue. Very appreciative. Read more
I recently bought a smallish portable monitor to use as a dual display with my laptop. I'd never used a dual display, so wanted to see if I'd actually use it. The problem I ran into was that the USB cable that came with the device was too short for my needs. My laptop has the USB port on the left side and I had to put the monitor off to the right, and its USB port was on right, so the supplied cable was precariously short. I had longer USB cables at home, but didn't originally appreciate that not all of them had video capability (duh). I searched online to find a suitable cable and found they came in a wide range of prices. I found this one, which was very reasonably priced, crossed my fingers and hit "order". It arrived promptly and the length was perfect and the video portion worked great. Read more
