First these were really nice quality pants. I tried on with underpants with bright stripes and no show through at all. I ordered up from my usual size and they fit me perfectly in the waist but they were too long and too large in the hips. I wanted to keep them because they were so nice, but as shown in the photos I tried on with a 1” and 2” heel and they were still too long. It would have taken a higher heel to wear them. Read more

These pants have no stretch, so keep that in mind when ordering. I got a size Large. I’m 5’0”, 160 lbs and I had to wear 4-inch heels so they wouldn’t drag on the floor. The leg is very wide but on the plus side they fully cover the stomach area which I appreciated. The material isn’t thick, but it looks rich and elevated, it actually feels nice against the skin. I’m 5’6” and weigh 155…ordered a medium. The pants are a lovely shade of brown, the length was perfect (not a fan of the “clam digger” look in dress pants.) Fabric is of nice weight and texture. One small complaint I have is that the fake back pocket tabs were not sewn down properly. If you have a little extra “cargo” in the rear, they might poke out. I’ll tack mine down or remove them. I had high hopes for these red pleated dress pants. At 5’1” and 125 pounds, I’m petite with very little hips and butt, and I wanted to try this style to balance my top-heavy figure. Unfortunately, they ended up looking frumpy on me. While I understand the style and think they might have looked great if tailored properly, the pants just weren’t sewn right. They bow out on the hips and then taper just past that, creating an awkward shape. The material quality is fine, but the overall shape is off. The length was good; I ordered a size XS and managed to zip them up, but the fit just wasn’t for me.
