The color is more blue and lighter than shown. id say darker than the light blue option shown but its not a slate blue. But still, its a nice set! Using my full sized keyboard and mouse is a lot easier now! Its just soft enough to keep my wrists at a comfortable elevation and there isnt any digging. The bottoms have a nonslip padding that doesnt slide at all on my varnished wooden desk. It doesnt feel cheap or have a weird smell either like some foam products have.
