Great fit and true to size. The jacket is very warm while still being lightweight, so it doesn’t feel bulky or restrictive when wearing it. The water-repellent material is a big plus and does a great job keeping you dry in light rain or snow. I really like that it zips up past the chin, which adds extra protection for your face and neck on cold, windy days. The pockets are roomy and practical, making it easy to carry gloves, a phone, or keys without feeling cramped. Overall, it’s a comfortable, well-made jacket that works perfectly for cold weather. The coat fits good, I'm 5'8" 190 lbs, and the large size is a good fit. However if you start layering under it it will seem a bit tight but still comfortable. The coat is warm so far tested in 9 degrees, it does stop the wind. I haven't yet tested the waterproofing yet but from the quality of the material it won't disappoint me. The coat is well made and defiantly worth the price. Feels great and looks great but most of all it's warm. Read more
I bought this for my husband and glad I read the reviews...Definitely size up! I had to try it out because I wanted to make sure it lived up to its reviews before giving as a gift...And it sure does!!! This jacket is warm for sure! The lining inside really keeps you toasty, great when you live in the snowy mountains...I love how you can tighten up the hood around your face to keeps winds out and it will not blow off...The thickness of the coat definitely blocks those freezing winds...And pockets, there is not a lack of them! The 5 outside and 1 inside all have zipper so things won't fall out... The jackets has a decent zipper, 2 velcro patches and a snap at the top and bottom...So if you are in a rush getting off, not going to happen lol...I really feel the quality is top notch...I got this while on sale so the value was so worth it! My hubby will be very satisfied with it...And if not, I will have a new jacket instead 😊 Read more
I actually love this jacket. Very warm, very comfortable and it looks good too. Seems waterproof enough. Haven't had it in any serious downpours or anything but light rain and snow seem to slide off it. I bought it a size larger than I normally wear and I'm glad I did... it fits great with enough room to move around in it comfortably... or for a sweater or extra layer if needed. Just be careful with it... you get what you pay for. It's not built very rugged (ie: no double-stitched seams, no extra layers at elbows or other wear points, etc). I know the headline on this mentions skiing or snowboarding... yeah... don't do that. I'd probably spend a bit more if I wanted that kind of durability out of a jacket! The chest pockets are a bit weird. One of them will hold items even when not zipped (ie: the pocket goes a bit downwards as it should). The other is not made that way... if it's unzipped, things WILL fall out. All told, it's a good buy for the money. You'll get a couple winters out of it if you're not too hard on it. I'm too old for the hard usage anyways, so I'm not taking this on any cold weather expeditions or mountain treks. It's worn a few days a week for going out around town. And I stay comfortable, warm and dry... ie: it's well worth what I paid for it! Read more
I got this jacket for my brother. He's a size XL but I got him a XXL to provide room inside which it fits him perfectly giving that extra room. He doesn't really like things to fit snug which I'm sure most men don't so if your wondering to get the actual size or go up a size it really just depends if you want a snug fit or loose fit. With the material I wouldn't worry about any shrinking. Honestly it's a really nice jacket with quiet a few features with pockets and hood. You can even dress it up in a way because it looks so nice to go to a meeting or social party. I got the one that's like a camel color so I'm not sure about other colors for that. But I'm sure the other colors are just as nice. I'd say it's true to size, color, and very warm and keeps you dry Read more
Excellent quality for a very low price, plenty of pockets, comparable to other jackets, smooth zipper, comfortable fit, very warm, costing 5 times less than otherds Read more
For the price (about $50) pretty darn good. Two chest Zip pockets which are a desirable feature, reasonably warm and decent looking. Maybe doesn’t breathe super well but not expected at this price point. I’d buy a second one next Winter if it’s still available. Read more
Excellent quality and excellent price. Is even warmer than I expected. I’ve worn it on days that are between 20-30 degrees Fahrenheit and it keeps me warm. Zippers are great quality and while the jacket is slightly thicker than an average jacket, it is thinner than comparable warm jackets out there. The inside lining is very soft and good quality. The only minor issue is that I’m still having some trouble removing all the wrinkles from when it was delivered to me. I have let it hang for a few days but that didn’t help too much. So I’ve tried using a thin cloth in between the jacket and iron and quickly ironing it and that has helped somewhat. Again not a huge deal, just something to take time to do when you first receive the jacket. Highly recommend this coat! Read more
