Just came back from camping in Yosemite in unheated cabins at 26 F. (-3 C) To be fair, I was prepared with thermal underwear and had an extra blanket (just a regular warm blanket from home) inside of the sleeping bag. And slept marvelously. I even got a bit hot and took my socks off. The zipper is quite easy to open so if you move more than you intended to it will open and the velcro will not stop the sleeping beg from opening, but the cuteness factor, coupled with the fact that it dis its job in keeping me warm makes it pretty great in my book. This sleeping bag really keeps my daughter warm. It's super cute and she loves it. I like how the zipper can go inside or outside too. The size is great for a growing kid, she is 7 and its decently big for her. It's comfortable but maybe a little thin. So far the quality has been great. Read more
