This stuff works, especially if you read the instructions twice, and have a steady and light hand with the dispenser. It's easy to dispense more than you need. We used it to patch some chips on the rim of a toilet. It didn't have to be perfect so it was a good test site to get used to using it. The curing process was quite short and effective. The sanding process was a bit difficult. Our friend who offered to be the guinea pig was a bit heavy handed with the sand paper and took off the first test spots accidentally. Took him a couple tries to get the product level with the toilet and still cover up the scratches. We're thinking the results would be much better if patching a larger spot - more room for error. The white is a bright white - barely visible on our toilet. We're going to get the same kit in black for our quartz kitchen countertop. well it worked ok for small places but took a bit of getting used to and finding the technique. The smell was very very strong so use in well ventilated area and i would suggest a mask as well and of course other safety measures like gloves and eyeglasses. once i got thre hang of it, things went pretty smooth so i suggest working a test area first and seeing how it behaves on what ever surface you are planning to use it for. make sure to rough up the surface to make the fill stick best. i used it before repainting my countertops with rustoleum countertop paint and it worked well. i had to smooth out the places i repaired first and once it was done it was like new and no gouges showed through. it really made the countertop paint look great as a finishing step. the texture was fine once i sanded it down a bit and it was easy to use after a few test tries. small spots cured well with the light as expected and it worked like it says. i just recommend really being prepared for the strong smell it was not pleasant lol very chemical and you will want to be careful inside. I had a few chips in my countertop, which was actually granite, and this worked just fine. It makes it easy and works quickly. Very good quality, it's very firm and very hard. I simply used a razor blade and scraped off the top, and you no longer can see the chip marks. Looks great so far. The Haitian part of it is making it stick, so there hasn't come out. It's been now a month. I've got no problems with that at all. Definitely a good deal for the money. Anything else would have cost way more. So for basic chips and I would think even bigger ones, take your time, and you can definitely save yourself a lot of money. And by fixing it yourself, it's very strong and it is definitely a good product.I recommend it.Fix it yourself, or at least give it a try.But definitely works fix my countertop, real nice looks great.I have no more rough spots on it.It was a little bit of work.But definitely was well worth it highly recommended.Good quality good price works well Read more
