As far as I'm concerned, the remarkable improvemenrs to my skin that I'm enjoying since I started wearing this mask are totally secondary to its real genius: when I have it on for the proscribed 10 mins every other night, I experience true bliss and utter peace because *no one can bother me*. Everyone in this household knows when I'm wearing this that Mama's in her self-care zone and I'm not to be asked about homework, dinner or lost items. Truthfully, no one really wants to bother me anyway when I'm looking like a humanoid robot or serial killing goalie. But back to the real effects of the breakthrough red light treatment offered by this mask: in just two weeks of somewhat sporadic use, my skin feels firmer and more hydrated. My canyon-like II's and marionette lines - my biggest problem areas, besides sagging jowls and neck - are just barely starting to fade,but I have hope. This miracle worker comes packed in an elegant box with ample instructions. The mask is light, comfortable to wear - with a cushioned area to protect your eyes. And it couldn't be easier to use: you just put the straps over your head and away you go. It is completely painless - unlike the red-light glasses I have - and doesn't leave any redness or irritation. The mask is made out of high-quality polymer and the LED lights adhere securely to the inside. As far as I can tell, it does exactly what it claims to do, and doesn't require any learning curve. It is definitely not cheap, but as the saying goes, you get what you pay for, and in your average dermatologist's office red light treatment like this costs hundreds per session. So I'm loving my mask, and only wish it came with some kind of stand or a hook so that I could keep it at hand for little 10-minute getaways; not only would this encourage me to use it more often if I didn't have to unpack it every time, but it would give me more precious "time out" sessions, and let's face it (pun intended), we could all use more of those. I ordered the QuasarMD 3D LED Face Mask when it was recently offered as a Vine promotion. I didn't know much about LED face masks before I ordered it, but it seemed like a good opportunity to learn. I wanted to find out if the mask can help with my acne and wrinkles. I read through the somewhat rudimentary instruction manual, and I performed the recommended test on my forearm to check whether the mask is suitable for my skin. Fortunately, it is. Using the mask is simple and straightforward. The handheld remote is comfortable to hold and has only 2 buttons, both of which can be operated with the thumb. It took a few minutes to adjust the straps on the mask, but once that was completed, the mask fit well and is comfortable. It's light enough that wearing it doesn't bother me. I normally wear eyeglasses, so it's difficult to read or watch TV while using the mask. I don't consider that a deal breaker, however. I haven't used the mask long enough to see visible results, so I can't yet rate its effectiveness. I was pleased to see the FDA and UL certifications which provide peace of mind. While the instruction manual is generally adequate, I was disappointed in its size and presentation considering the price of the mask. I have been using this for about one month now and can confidently say that this is now a permanent part of my nighttime routine! The mask is so easy to put on. But what I am impressed with the most is how my skin has been feeling and looking after using this! It is so easy to use and fits and aligns on my face just perfectly. The media could not be loaded. This LED face mask is lightweight and easy to use. I love that it’s cordless, so I can relax on the couch, read, or watch a show while using it. The hand controller makes it simple to switch between light colors (red, white, green, etc.) and adjust treatment times without getting up. The silicone eye cups are a great feature—they effectively shield the eyes from direct light exposure, which gives me peace of mind during sessions. That said, the fit isn’t perfect. The adjustable head strap rests mostly on the forehead, which causes the chin and lower cheek area of the mask to lift away from the skin. To get better contact there, I have to either lie flat or tilt my head back—otherwise, the mask doesn’t sit snugly around the jawline. I’ve also noticed mild eye discomfort when using the red light, even with the eye cups in place—possibly from light reflecting or leaking around the edges. I’ve been using it consistently for a couple of weeks, focusing on red light for fine lines and white/green for brightening, but haven’t seen dramatic results yet. I’m hopeful with continued use, my skin will look more rejuvenated and even-toned. I’ve only been using this a few days, so I’m waiting to see if I have any results. I like the variety of light color options and the instruction book explains what light color does what. The remote is easy to charge. You can easily carry it in your pocket so you can power the mask and do house hold chores. When looking down it will sort of slip up your face, but otherwise it fits just fine. Overall quality feels nice. The packaging was gorgeous.
