I ordered the EggPlant 14W. It is shiny and has metalic thread in it.(not itchy) Perfect for my daughters wedding. I ended up exchanging it for the next size up. I did fit in this 14W but I do not like to wear my clothes to tight. I'm sure it would help for you to know that I am 5'1" and 210. I will have to hem the pants. The quality of the item was superior to other dresses and less money on most! I had ordered a total of 9 outfits from other Clothing Company's. (Yes, I am very picky) I kept only one, it was from Amazon. I wore it to a wedding of my last grandchild to marry!! It was a formal evening wear..... How did it look on me, a little chubby grandma. I had never had so many complaints of how nice it looked on me. One lady had me send her info, as she was needing an outfit for a family wedding. I went through so many outfits to find this one for my Son's wedding. When i tried it on It fit nicely and was very comfortable. My problem with it arose later in the evening. It may be just me, but the pants seemed to keep getting bigger and heavier and I found myself pulling them up constantly especially when dancing. I'm 66 yo, 5'7 and weigh about 207 pounds. I got a size 14W which is the the size of other R&M outfits I have. I detached the necklace and I used a jewelery necklace/chain extender to connect the two sides so it would fall correctly. Otherwise it gapped awkwardly. The shell being attached was not as bad as I had thought it would be. Overall, I'm glad I got it. I ordered this outfit as a back up for one that is coming from China, just in case. It is a lovely navy blue and the metallic thread in the top makes it spectacular. Makes you look like you have money . The fit is excellent if you go by the size chart. I usually take an 18w but was able to fit in a 16w with greatest of ease. I love the cut and quality of this pantsuit. The fabric drapes gracefully, and the outfit is comfortable to wear. I was afraid that the metallic fabric might be scratchy, but it's not. My only disappointment is that the navy color is an extremely dark shade of navy, almost black. It's hard to tell colors on a monitor, so this is not a criticism of the garment. It's nobody's fault that the color didn't quite work for me. PS: I returned the navy and bought this outfit in eggplant. Love it, love it, love it. I'm not sure I'd call the color "eggplant," since it has more reddish undertones than I usually see on an eggplant in the produce aisle. Maybe I'd call it chianti, deep burgundy, or chambord.
