I bought it as a "beach" dress, something to throw on after surfing, thinking it would not be the best fabric/quality but suitable as Fall cover up over a bathing suit (Southern California). Pleasantly surprised with the fabric and quality! I wore it with ankle boots to brunch with friends and got tons of compliments. I bought the Olive color; it's pretty! The fit is true to size, the waist is very flattering, the fabric is soft and it's comfortable overall. The only thing... it's pretty short in back and rides up even more when I walk. I constantly have to pull it down. I think that's me having a big butt and a small waist.. everything works its way up. But for most people I don't think it will be an issue. I'm happy with it. Because I love the style of this dress, and because there are so many great color options to choose from, I am now on my third color choice of this same dress! Material is thick and does not feel cheap. One frustration I do have, however, is that the length of the dress varies by color. The pink and blue ones I ordered are shorter in both overall length and sleeve length than the wine color; I cannot wear the pink/blue versions as a dress without tights underneath. The elastic band on one of the wrists of my wine-colored dress somehow snapped one day while at my work desk, which doesn’t seem fixable as it broke inside the fabric and no longer gathers/cinches the sleeve, so it looks totally different from the other wrist now. But I have worn the dress a ton, so while it was unexpected and heart-breaking, it didn’t keep me from investing in another. Read more

Bought this for my 4 ft 11 inch, 23 year old daughter. The reason I put her height in here is that it is super hard to find things that look cute on someone that short. This dress fits her like a dream, and she absolutely loves it! A couple of things to note: 1-the middle tie takes a bit of finesse to get right-when she initially tried it on, it looked like a potato sack that had pulled together in the middle, but after she played with it a little and figured it out, it is cute as a button. 2-The fabric...let me tell you, this is DEFINITELY a cold weather, poly-blend garment! We live in Central Texas and she had this on in late Feb (translation: 80-ish degrees), and she smelled like a truck driver after she had worn it all day...and that is NOT a dig on her personal hygiene. (She'd KILL me if she knew I said that!). Anyway, buy this with confidence that it fits as expected for your autumn/winter wardrobe, and don't fret if it takes a hot second to get the ties right-you'll get it to look great...promise. :). This is a very flattering tunic style top/dress. I already have another color in my cart :). I highly recommend this top. I'd like to see this brand make a short sleeve version and offer this top in brighter colors. FIT I'm 5'4", 150 pounds, 36 C, curvy hourglass body. I normally wear a size Medium or 8, sometimes a size L or 10. I bought the black medium—it fits perfectly. It is a fitted look and for me it's too short to wear as a dress, but I love this as a tunic with pants. It's very versatile and can be worn casual, to the office, or out on the town depending on how you style it. The knot placement is fantastic for concealing any tummy bulge or bloating and it nips in at a high waist and shows off my curves. FABRIC I picked up this one after reading reviews from several sellers. This is advertised as cotton, so that was appealing over rayon or polyester. There is no tag on the garment that says what it's made of, so I can't say with certainty that it is 100% cotton, but it could be. It is a knit with a textured weave you can see in the photos compared to other versions of this top on Amazon. It's the type of fabric that can work in multiple seasons fall/winter/spring. Read more
