GRACIOUS me! These pants really do look like a skirt. The waistband is very comfortable! I think they are suited for most ANY event, from casual to “dress-up”! I am very pleased to have them. Pros: Comfortable Pockets Lightweight material is lined Can be dressed up or down Fit true to size Good quality Waistband is very stretchy Sits at natural waist Flattering Cons: Length is a bit weird Pockets kind of stick out unless you position them just right String at waistband looks a bit like an afterthought Wrinkle easily Overall, I was happy with these, as they give me something comfortable and classy to wear while I am still getting my shape back postpartum and running around after my kids. I personally just tucked the drawstrings in to the waistband. I've worn this so far with a slightly cropped top and wedges, and it looked put together.
