This film was perfect for a window in the bathroom. It allows natural light to filter in with giving privacy. The film is not flimsy or thin and easy to install as long as you follow the instructions. One plus is that when the sun hits the window it creates a rainbow prism on the wall which is beautiful!! I would recommend this for any window you want privacy but still allow natural light to come in Read more
Arrived very quickly! Was so easy to apply and it looks amazing. Price was on point. Color prism it casts is beautiful, but also allows privacy. Trying to figure out which window I want to do next. Read more
I love this privacy film. It’s cute and easy to install. I get plenty of sunlight and don’t have to use blinds in the room. It does’t come with an installation kit so make sure you have one on hand. The rainbows it creates are beautiful and whimsical. Read more
It does look really nice when the lights are hitting at the right angle, I have experience tinting cars and still struggled to get the film to stay tight around the edges. When you spray with water make sure you are pushing with enough force to chase the water between glass and film out fully. Only going 4 stars because I expected a much more intense diffusion affect so I could have light but keep people from seeing inside. That it doesn’t help much if at all with. Still love the colors it’s a solid film once it’s up to Read more
I love this brand for privacy tint. It’s easy to install, especially with a bit of a background in automotive wrap and tint, but it’s definitely what I would consider beginner friendly! It’s a great value for the cost, durable, and light shines through well while maintaining privacy. It makes really beautiful rainbows in the rooms I have it on the windows too, and I get SO many compliments. Read more
I am in love. It turned out so pretty! the rainbow colors show in daylight and at night. Cutting the size was a little tedious (I used an industrial box cutter) but installation is super easy. I recommend cutting you panels slightly larger, then once they are in place use you blade and follow your window frame to remove the excess material. 1st pic is daytime second is night Read more
I recently got this rainbow window privacy film from rabbitgoo, and I’m pretty pleased overall. It adds a lovely decorative touch to my space, and it works well for the price—though there are a few things to keep in mind. --- What I Like: Lovely Visual Effect: When sunlight shines through this film, it creates a gorgeous prismatic/rainbow effect. It really feels magical—especially earlier in the day or late afternoon when the angle catches it just right. It turns plain glass into something decorative without needing stained glass or heavy treatments. Soft, Diffused Light + UV Protection: I like that it still lets a fair amount of natural light in, but softens and filters the direct glare. It’s reduced harsh sun in the room, especially in the late morning. According to the product info, it blocks a large percentage of UV-B and a good portion of UV-A, helping protect furniture, fabrics, and skin. For what I wanted—some privacy + aesthetic improvement—it hits the mark. No Glue, Reusable, Removable: Because it’s a static-cling film, there’s no sticky adhesive. That means fewer worries about damaging the glass or having glue residue. I also appreciate that I can remove and reposition it—useful for renters or if I decide to move it to a different window. Size & Fit: The size (17.5 × 78.7 inches) let me cover a tall window reasonably well. I had enough length and width to make it work without too many seams or weird overlaps, which helps the overall look. --- What Could Be Better: Installation Is Tricky: Getting it to lie flat without bubbles was a little more tedious than I expected. You’ll need to spray water on both glass and the film, carefully smooth out air pockets, and trim precisely. Dust or any unevenness on the glass surface showed up as visible imperfections. So—be patient, take your time, and maybe enlist help for the smoothing/trimming steps. Effect Depends on Light Conditions: If you don’t have much direct sunlight, the rainbow effect tends to be much more subtle or even barely noticeable. On cloudy days or in shaded windows, it looks more like decorative privacy glass—but less of the glow and color-show. Privacy Is Partial: This film offers semi-privacy—not total. You’ll block out a lot of view from outside, but depending on lighting, silhouettes or shapes may still be visible. If full privacy or blackout is required (for bathrooms, bedrooms, etc.), this may not be enough by itself. Durability Over Time: I haven’t had it long enough to know how well it holds up long-term, but I noticed that the static cling grip eases a bit over time—especially if the window frame gets warm, or if the film is humid. It may need occasional adjustment or re-application. Read more
This disappointed me. My half bath window is literally 6-8 inches from my neighbors drive (I live at the base of a hill,) and I could clearly make out the neighbors house, the lines on the clapboards, their car, very definite details and that means they easily saw us sitting on the toilet or looking in the mirror and doing bathroom stuff. There’s some distortion but little. The rainbow effect happens in the right light, but that’s about it. It’s easy to apply and remove. It was nice to have a rainbow e effect but the privacy was lacking. At least it let the light in. Why did I pick this pattern? I had purchased a very similar (basically the same) pattern from another seller 3-4 years ago for a different place I lived. Window clings need to be cut to the shape of the window, so when I moved, I left it behind or threw it out. However I was quite familiar w the pattern and that one actually distorted the view enough as to make it so if you stood a foot from my window, I could negligibly make out that a person was there. Even then it was difficult. Light came in fully. The rainbow effect was more pronounced. I would not recommend this from this seller. If you’re looking for privacy it lets too much be visible. I love window clings and have used them many times and I was very disappointed with the lack of privacy offered here. It does work perhaps on a second floor where you’ve no neighbors at all height they can easily look in. It does cling well, and is thick. The pattern to cling side are easily discernible. Seller was quick and instructions clear. But it’s not very private. The light does come in nice but there are lots of clear privacy clings w rainbow effect that do the same and actually shield your privacy. Read more
