RaceQuip 355005RQP 355 Series Driving Gloves - SFI 3 3 5 - Black Black - Large

I mainly use these gloves for simracing and simdrifting. They grip my suede wheel very well and perform incredibly well for both drifting and racing in the sim. They also look incredible and make me feel just like a real racecar driver. I've had karting gloves previously and the insides of these gloves are much more comfortable to wear and much softer and comfy on the insides. Despite being thicker than my previous karting gloves, these also somehow keep my hands at about the same level of sweatiness, or maybe even slightly less sweaty than my thinner karting gloves. Now why would I need something this extreme for simracing? Other gloves tend to get torn or burned through very quickly, but these are holding up very well! I regularly use these gloves for longer stints and races than many would with IRL driving, often going entire hours without taking them off or quitting driving at all (kinda like endurance racing or drifting). As stated in the review title, these have already served me well for 100+ driving hours and they are almost in the exact same condition as they were when they were new! ^ which it may be important to mention that simply using any glove like this on a suede wheel will cause marks quickly that show they have been used but isn't actually wear that is concerning and it is perfectly okay/expected. Sizing! I ordered a Large and they fit me well. My reference for this size to ensure that it was correct for me was that I also wear a size large in Mechanix gloves and OMP karting gloves (which this worked well for me). Read more

These gloves are outstanding. They’re durable and comfortable and they are SFI certified. Other gloves have fallen apart during the first race and these have held up to several desert races and still look great. Read more

Extremely comfortable and soft on the inside. I wear a large glove and fits true to size. Thick but not too stiff out of the box for sim racing. These gloves are going to be awesome after breaking them in. Only had them for one day and think they are well made and definitely worth the money. Read more

I have exceptionally big hands and these mange to fit pretty well. I compete in grassroots drift and these gloves helped in my handling. I have a NRG steering wheel with a composite rim, which the material can be sticky or slick to the touch depending on the temperature and sweat. Having some suede gloves on helped the consistency of the feel. When letting the car self steer, I could let the wheel just slip between my fingers and if I need to steer or grip up, the gloves held well. Great product from Racequip, as always! Read more

These gloves are required by some tracks to be worn. They’re comfortable enough but get very hot (every single race glove ever). As a grassroots drifter, they’re very good for me. I can tell these gloves will only last one season from the events I’ve used them in so far, but at the price point, that’s not terrible. Additionally, if your on the fence about buying these gloves (or any gloves for normal race use) like I was just think about this. Your car is on fire and you just need to move the bumper to put out the fire. Without wearing gloves with heat resistance, you’ll burn your hands so badly you’ll be lucky to drive the next season. Take safety seriously. Medical bills will always be more than safety equipment. You can replace gloves easily after they’re burnt. Your skin is not as easy to replace. You only get one body, take precautions, buy safety equipment. Read more

I am pleased with these racing gloves from RaceQuip. Their products continue to impress me--especially at such an affordable price. I regularly autocross, time attack, and track my car--along with karting. These gloves are great for all of these applications, although grip on my leather-wrapped steering wheel is not excellent. I will be wearing these gloves for 24hrs of Lemons next week which should serve as a true test of their lasting quality over several two hour stints of driving. So far, the longest I have worn the gloves was a 30 minute karting endurance race and they performed beautifully. I will keep an eye on potential changes in quality throughout future use. Read more
