First of all, don’t be scared off by the word ‘satin’ in the description, because that did worry me a little. The fabric is just a regular smooth fabric, and not glossy or shiny. The photos show a slightly dropped waist, when in fact they are high rise….says so right on the tag. They don’t really have an elastic waist, in the sense of have an elastic insert. It’s just a regular waistband. I also would not describe them as capris, as they are long for capris. I’d say they’re more of a cropped pant. Overall, these are very nice pants. The fabric appears to be of good quality, and I can’t find any defects in the workmanship. There are back pockets which are sewn shut, and two side slit pockets that have zippers to close. The side pockets are good-sized, and I appreciate that they zip shut. Sometimes side slit pockets create unflattering bulges on the side of the hips, but these are nice and smooth. The only thing I don’t like about these pants is that there is very little stretch, and the stretch is only from side to side. Because the legs of the pants are slim fit, when I sit down they are tight in the knees. I had to pull the legs up a bit to be able to bend my knees comfortably. As far as size, I am between sizes 14 and 16 in pants, and I ordered a 14 because that’s all they had at the time. They fit very well, and a 16 would definitely have been too big. I machine washed them in coolish water, and hung to dry. They did not shrink, and in my opinion did not need to be ironed. At most you could iron the side seams near the bottom of the legs, because they pucker just a little bit. The pants have a permanent crease in the front and back of the legs, and remained crisp after washing. One star deducted because of the inaccurate description of the features. Read more

I ordered the white capris and am rather happy with them. The material is nice and has a level of stretch to them, making them comfortable to wear. They are true to size and have no issue with fit or cut. My two comments are that the odd tie at the bottom of the pant legs make them feel less nice, preventing them from being as professional as I had hoped. Mind you, I still wear them to work. Secondly, the white material does show the outline of the pockets through them, showing that the fabric isn't as thick. If you're wearing a cardigan with it to hide the obvious pockets, it's not that big of a deal, but I'm uncomfortable wearing them without covering the pockets. These are too long to be called capris, but they are well made, slim silhouette cropped pants. They fabric finish is dressy and they are thick enough to not be see through. These are perfect for a business casual work environment. They are true to size. Read more
I really love the pants, so I'm a bit disappointed that I can't wear them, because they have polyester. But that's a me problem. They are made from cotton and polyester, FYI. I ordered a size 12 (I normally wear around an 11), and they fit well, a little loose. They were longer on me than is shown in the pic, but I'm only 5' 4". I was happy with the length (until I realized I had to take them off lol). The pants are very well made and much nicer than I expected. They look right up there with my designer pants. High quality and very nicely made. I have always liked Rafaella clothing, but haven't seen it around lately. Runs just slightly large. Legs are not too wide at the bottom. Waist has a button and a fat hook. I am very impressed and will look for this label now that I know it still exists. Read more
These are nice pants and the grommet detail at the cuff is very cute. I did find that they seem to run a bit small - not so small that I need to size up, but they are tighter than I would prefer. It is advertised as having an elastic waistband, but it is not really elastic but rather just stretchy. They are nice for work and can be dressed down with sneakers and a t-shirt. Read more
