The material is what i really love about these pants. The material is rather thick but it is very soft and comfortable. I think the thicker material helps the pants keep their shape, which i love! Also they have a little stretch so they shape nicely to your frame. I really appreciated these came in petite sizes. The legs were still a little long but not too bad. The overall fit is nice and flattering. The bootleg is nice and the “bell” at the bottom isn’t too wide. My only complaint is fake pockets!? Whyyyy?? I would rather no pockets if they’re not functional. I don’t think the pockets look very nice and they are unnecessary. However, overall, i like these pants. Okay, these Rafaella petite boot cut pants actually look good on me AND they fit comfortably. I don't have much of a waist so when I order pants, it's almost always by the waist measurement because I don't like tight waistbands. Unfortunately, when I order like that, pants tend to be comfortable in the waist but big in the hips on me due to my lack of an hourglass figure. These Rafaella pants don't make my hips look big though, so I'm thrilled with that. I have a 34" waist and ordered a 12 Petite due to the 31.5" - 33" waist measurement in their size chart and they fit perfectly in the waist. It's not loose but it's not too snug, either. And the hips, though just slightly baggy, don't make me look wider there. Score! The fabric is relatively thick but comfortable enough for my sensitive skin to tolerate. The fabric is also nicely opaque. It does get slightly sheer when stretched, but not enough to really see anything. Most undies are probably safe under these pants. Yesss! The two back pockets are fake, yuck. I hate fake pockets. These are not only fake, but they sit a little lower on my rump than typical pockets, so the 'pocket' opening is almost sitting right on top of each butt cheek. It looks a little silly. A long shirt will cover that though. Yes, these pants are just a hint too long for my petite frame and I'll have to wear some sort of heel with them, but they're still way better than most of the regular pants out there where I'm walking/tripping on the hems. Overall though, these are great pants and I'll be getting a lot of use out of them, especially when autumn comes around. They're comfortable, they're flattering and they look like quality clothing. I didn't see any sloppy seams or weird fabric anomalies. These are all around good-looking, and versatile, pants. I'm really starting to like this Rafaella brand. Read more

The media could not be loaded. I know others mentioned shrinkage, and I have not washed these yet so I pray that doesnt happen, will update if so! They do seem to love hair like a magnet, and I have no clue why i would be so covered in hair all the time just kidding, watch the video, lol. But luckily i have lint rollers on deck and these pants are slick! SO STRETCHY but thick and smooth and well structured/shaped. They are like true dress/suit pants imo, but feel more like leggings as far as the comfort level. The only bummer is they arent real back pockets, just a faux design but it def makes them more flattering to have that visual piece. There are NO pockets, and I wish there were, but then again, that changes the shape of things, so they probably end up being much more flattering and form fitting overall due to not having that extra fabric in the hips/rear where a pocket normally sits. I am a Face Painter and often need to dress nice to entertain at events, but its so important for me to be comfortable as well, and I'm painting and working with kids, so spending a ton on nice uniform clothes is counterproductive. These are going to def be my go to for that, but also for nice nights out to dinner, concerts, or anything else where I want to be more formal than my daily leggings and yogapants. My husband and I live by the code #SOFTLIFE and these pants fit the bill. I'm 5/2 about 155 and due to short lady life, dress pants that fit well in the waist/hips/thighs are often WAAAAY too long, I dont sew and never taking anything to cleaners or tailors, so finding a great fit WITH a great length (short/petite) is such a huge win it itself!! Last two shirts snd pants ran way too small. The pants were supposed to be petite but they were about 7 inches too long I ordered other tops in small snd they ran too big so I got x small this time I think different manufacturers size differently. Read more

The fabric is perfect. They feel like a cross between heavy leggings and sweatpants, but they look like dress pants. I’m all about being comfortable, and these totally fit the bill. I’m 5’0” and I like the length of these with heels. My sister taught me the trick of elongating your legs by hiding a bit of the shoe/boot and effectively visually adding the height of the heel to the length of your legs. I need all the help I can get. The only disappointment is the fake pockets— really? Why?! I’d rather have the butt be perfectly smooth if I can’t get function out of the pockets. But still, these are going to be the ones I grab when I need to look decent but really would prefer not to get dressed. Read more

I ordered the petite length, but on my 5’3 body, they are still way too long, which is disappointing because otherwise, the pants have a nice feel, the material has stretch is comfortable, especially for a work pant. They were flattering in every other aspect. They feel like a quality work pant, not too stiff, but tailored appearance, so it’s not as thin a usual yoga pant. I also found the nonfunctional pockets a let down. I wish they made the petite, actually for petite people. Read more
