I love the hardware on the pants the best - gives it a little interest without taking away from your top. The pants fit well for the most part, but I found they are a little too loose from the knee down. The material is heavy so it holds it's structure throughout the day, but not so heavy it's warm. True ankle length. The only thing I don't like is how strong the stomach panel is. It really compresses - uncomfortably so. I can't take them any larger, not even in the waist, so it's definitely the panel being too tight, or rather the elastic being too strong. Read more

I have several other pairs of Rafaella pants, so my expectation was that I’d get another excellent pair of pants. And they are! Called “ankle pants” because that’s exactly the length on me. Called “pull-on” because they go on like a pair of leggings, only they have a stitched seam down the middle like a dress pant. Called “stretch fabric” because it really is - it’s smooth like tights, but thick. The “hardware” is 2 silver circles on each side that give the appearance of a belt panel. [SIZE INFO] I’m 5’8”, 120 lbs, & wear size Medium & 4 or 6. Having owned this brand already, I feel they run a bit big, so I ordered size 4 & they’re the right size. My only complaint is that the waist has a looseness, but that’s just my body - the rest of the pant is fitted well. Wait - also no pockets, so that’s a drawback! BUT — they didn’t say there would be, so it’s just my preference. These pants do not fit well because the size is not up to standards. In addition quality is too thick and heavy and NOT as stretchy rather they are heavy and stiff. Disappointing! Read more

The quality of these pants is perfect! Everything about them says that they are so well made. The fabric is thicker and has a very firm stretch to it. The black color is a very true rich jet black. I can't wait to wear these this fall, it's been too dang hot to wear them yet this summer! If they made these in other colors, I'd buy them all. They are very flattering and I'm sure will work well for many body types. I'm 5'8" and 150 lbs. with a bit of middle aged middle. Very sleek and stylish, it looks very professional so it's perfect for business fashion. It's quite thick, stretchy to a degree and true to size. It feels sturdy but has a smooth texture so it feels very comfortable. Ideally better for cool winter weather than hot since it is quite thick and on the heavier side as well.
