It was given as a gift to my wife. She couldn't be happier. The fact that it is sold by a music store makes it even better. We are not professionals, but the different sounds are pleasant and harmonious. Though few notes have an awkward less brilliant sound. It is amazing to hear its sounds under the rain. I was amazed at how nicely in tune this was, and having the extra octave is quite nice when adding variety to the tunes. I am not sure why it was advertised as a garden drum, I would not leave this outside, as it is too nice an instrument. I always try not to leave my instruments outside out of habit. I can feel that for me there is a pleasant energy I experience when playing the hand pan as an ambient instrument. It is relaxing as well.
