So, my wife loves it. Just playing one note at a time feels relaxing because the sound quality is everything that I was hoping it would be. Its so easy and fun to play because the numbering system for each note is super helpful. Also,In checking with my tuner the tongue notes were in key when it came. The travel bag has a quality feel to it and the paint is powder coat and tough as nails so the quality is over the top. In fact I was in a rush one day and dropped it on my hardwood floor. My floor was dented but the drum still looked perfect. I bought it for my wife to have fun with and she is not musically inclined in any way but she followed the song book right out of the box and was starting to make music, albeit she needs to practice but she has a blast with it. Some beautiful vibrational tones ring out of here. While most of the notes hit and sound beautiful when played with each other in different patterns. The super tiny ones don't ring super well. I hear it's hit or miss on the tone of these sometimes, depending on which one you get, but overall, mine is a joy to play. I'd be curious to buy a second one to see how tuned they really are. Quality also looks authentic. Comes with Mallets and finger mallets, though I can't get a good sound from my fingers at all. I would totally buy this again in different key notes or sizes. I casually use it to clear my mind for a couple of minutes on work days and also sample the sounds for making beats. Read more
