I really love this suitcase! The fact that the case can't be opened from the outside is ingenious. One must first keypad unlock the external zippers to access the internal zippers that open the case. The inside of the internal case is roomy while the external opening has a Velcro slot for a tablet or laptop along with a few pockets for small items like chargers. There's even a special pocket for an Air tag or Google Find me device. The outside is sturdy, the telescoping handle has multiple positions and the wheels allow free-floating travel with quick turns and single finger control. At this price, this case is an absolute STEAL! Note the bag is expandable but airlines are very strict now and make you close that expansion! Read more
The media could not be loaded. I loved the design of this as I was shopping and it rolls super smoothe! It has features with multiple pockets and a laptop section for me to put my macbook and ipad. The non-"clamshell" opening was very appealing to me from the start.... BUT the way it's designed, the extra zipper behind the computer is the only way to get into the main part of the suitcase. While that may not seem like a big issue, if you have anything loose in the front section, it could fall out. It's also very awkward/flimsy with heavier items in that front pouch if you need to get into the suitcase. If you don't plan to use it for a laptop or ipad and just want the great size/gliding wheels, it could be perfect. This is a nice option for a very lightweight carry-on suitcase. I have a heavy soft-side carry-on that is fine for domestic travel, but I needed something lighter for an upcoming international trip when there are limits on both the dimensions and overall weight of the packed suitcase. I am able to pack a few more pounds of contents given how much lighter this bag is compared to my old bag. The dimensions are within the specified carry-on limits. The wheels are super smooth and it is very easy to roll and maneuver. The handle is sturdy and stays in place. The bag itself appears sleek, and I like the sage green color which is easy to identify while still being neutral. This suitcase opens/packs from the front rather than in the more common clamshell-style. At first I couldn't figure out how to access the main compartment, because the 2 zippers that were visible were for the front pocket and the expansion zipper. Eventually I realized you have to open the front pocket first, undo the velcro sides (to convert it from a pocket that opens partially to a lay-flat opening), then open the additional zipper inside the front pocket to access the main compartment. It's an unusual design but fine as long as you aren't often needing to access the main compartment during travel. The front pocket is a good size and can fit most of my "quick access" items anyway. But if I ever need to access something from inside the suitcase unexpectedly I will have to remove things from the front pocket to access it. Otherwise I do like the single large deeper compartment, which makes packing easier compared with having two shallower compartments. It works really well with packing cubes. The interior of the bag is spacious and has several smaller pockets which are great for organization. The bag also does have an expansion zipper that adds about an inch of space all the way around - a great option as long as it stays within the approved dimensions for your airline. The zipper to the front pocket (and by extension, to the main compartment) locks on the top of the suitcase with a 3-digit combination of your choice. The zipper pulls are an odd shape to allow for them to fit in the locking mechanism - this actually bothers me a bit, as I can't hold the zipper pull in the usual way (flat between my thumb and pointer finger) while opening and closing the suitcase. As a result it's kind of awkward to open and close the zippers. Overall I am happy with this suitcase and would say it is a good value for a very functional bag. I expect to use it several times this year and hope it also proves to be durable. Read more
