I have Sjögren's, and it has been challenging to find a lip balm that actually works. I have bought SO MANY different brands only to get disappointed and feel like I wasted money. Please do yourself a favor and just try it and see if it works for you. It's less than $20, and I understand that it's not cheap, but you get what you pay for. You don't want to know how much I've spent on all the various lip balms out there! I will be purchasing this for the 3rd time here. It has lasted me for months, but only because I've been trying to use all the other ones I've purchased at Ulta, so I don't just toss those in the trash bin. I found that this balm has pleasantly surprised me, and it has become a favorite of mine. Just try it and see for yourself. Give it about a week and use it daily, reapply as needed. Then you'll start seeing a difference. From my experience, my hard, crusted, flaky lips became softer and hydrated. Let me start by saying I have Sjogren’s, which causes my skin (lips included) to have this neverending thirst for moisture due to the dryness the disease causes. While this product alone isn't enough for me, using it in combination with some CeraVe healing ointment on top has made a big impact on the overall texture and feel. I also have sensitive skin: eczema, rosacea, and sensitivities to most skincare products. I recommend you give this a try if you're looking for a cleaner, simple ingredient type of lip product.
