If a drip acclimation kit is unavailable, the following steps may be used. 1. Float the bag in the tank for 15 minutes. Ensure not to exceed this time for breathable fish bags. 2. Transfer the shrimp/fish to a small container, ensuring to remove any deceased ones. 3. Add 4 ounces of your aquarium water to the container. Repeat this process 2-3 times every 10 minutes. 4. Discard half of the water from the container and repeat step #3. 5. Carefully use a net to transfer the shrimp/fish to the aquarium. |
