If I could leave 0 stars, I would. I purchased this product as a gift for a child. It was on sale (not sure if that had anything to do with the issues I have had). The box it came in was dirty and not the best condition to wrap as a gift but sealed, so I discarded the original box and rewrapped the kazoo to be more presentable as a gift. I liked the fact that it came with mouthpiece strap, diaphragms for sound quality, and the pink and black color was a fun option for young girl. The mouthpiece strap broke immediately, however, when the mouthpiece was removed to use the kazoo for the first time. Furthermore, the kazoo was defective (yes, the diaphragm was installed properly). Three adults attempted to blow the kazoo, and there was no sound! I reached out to the seller and included pictures. At first, the seller only wanted to offer only a partial return (50%) for a defective item. When I replied that a full refund would be fair, they offered a little more of a refund but still not a full refund because they require the original packaging. I'm not sure why the original box is so important for a defective product (hopefully not to resell a defective kazoo). Fortunately, Amazon offers excellent customer service and assured me there would be a full refund--no original box required for a defective item. It isn't a high-dollar item, but it's the principle. Long story short, if you receive a defective kazoo (and I wasn't the only one, according to the review community), go through Customer service rather than reaching out to the seller. I didn't expect to have such an issue with a kazoo, of all things. The gift recipient was disappointed, and it isn't something you really want to "test" before giving someone else as a gift, so just be prepared that you may need to return it, if defective. FYI this and any kazoo will only work if you stretch the membrane first. Just poke it a few times after you put it in it should do it. People saying it doesn't work, this is likely the reason. You have to put the membrane in yourself too so really this only came with 2 extra. Anyway this is not high quality plastic like I envisioned. It's very cheap, very thin and This came with only 3 total membrane, the picture shows 6 which was pretty disappointing. I ordered this over the others because it had more. But my son loves it. I would have gotten a better quality one for similar price had i seen this first. Even The thin metal ones at the dollar store are sturdier than this unfortunately, I paid more thinking I'd get a better product but didn't. It's fun to play and works though. It sounds good too. My son is super excited so I can't knock it too much since it works. Don't leave it on the floor though, one step and it'd be toast. Read more

This is a stylish and really cool looking kazoo. Made of plastic and comes in various colors. One thing to note is in one of the pictures in the product description it says “edible plastic”. Ummm I would not recommend eating your kazoo…. With that said even though you can’t actually eat it is still pretty fun. Comes with a protective mouthpiece cover, lanyard and several extra membranes. Puts out some decent kazoo sound. It’s a bit expensive for a kazoo but if you take your kazoos seriously then this is for you!! Read more
