Can you say a comfort and beauty and travel appropriate? I celebrated my 50th birthday with a trip to Morocco. I purchased this kaftan for my trip. It was so comfortable to wear, culturally appropriate and photographed beautifully. The fabric is lightweight and the colors are gorgeous. It is easy to wear, no matter what your body type is. The only thing to mention is washing it… it needs to be washed on the delicate cycle in cold water and then put in the dryer on air dry because if you hang it up to dry or don’t take it to a dry cleaner there is a possibility of the color bleeding. I bought this for a "Mrs. Roper Day" at my school. A bunch of teachers just showed up with curly red wigs, kaftan, and big jewelry. The kids had no idea who we were supposed to be and were a little puzzled as to what was going on. It was a lot of fun having just the teachers dress up. We will be doing this every Friday until school ends. It's a different theme every week. It confuses the kids so much, they actually behave better...true story! I have to say, the kaftan was bought as a costume, but it is quite lovely to wear as a dress. The color and pattern is very 70s, and quite pretty. The fabric is light and flowy. It is slightly see through. At home I wouldn't care, but at school, I needed to wear a slip. I got a lot of compliments on it, even from the students. Apparently the dress was "tight"... in a good way 🙂. I am 5'2" and wear a 10. It touched ever so slightly on the floor, even with 2.5 inch sandals. But it was still doable and I didn't bother to hem it. I had to tack the armholes up to hide my bra, you could completely see right into them. I also pinned the dress to my bra to hold it up because a little too much cleavage showed. A taller person wouldn't need to do most of this, but most kaftans aren't made for short people. It was big on me, but that's how it is supposed to fit. I will tailor it properly and I truly hope I have the courage to wear it, even if it's just at home. It really is lovely. Read more
Cute Caftan. Will be perfect for Mrs. Roper night. Material is nice and washes well. I do think the length shrunk a little when I dried it on low. Will also be a perfect beach cover up. Read more

Comfy but one size might not fit all. I needed some adjustments but was able to get by for my event with a tank top and slip because it is thin because it is a cover up but I was wearing it out. Lots of compliments. Every one wanted to know where we got our dresses. Read more
The only thing that would make this gorgeous and simple kaftan more perfect would be …. pockets. And I wish I had more places to wear it. Bought it for a 70s-themed party and fell in love with it. Maybe it will inspire me to participate in an International Mrs. Roper Day. Dreaming big over here. Ha. #ButPocketsThoughSeriously #KaftanLyfe! Read more
I have lots of Kaftans. I love them. This one is cheap looking and the colors are faded. I won't wear this one in public. Read more
