This skirt fit true-to-size on my wife who is 5'1" tall and typically wears a size medium (8-10). It's a good, stretchy material that she described as being very soft and comfy. The material is thick enough that it's certainly not see-through (at least in the dark gray color). And as her totally unbiased husband, I just have to say that this skirt looked HOT on her. It's definitely on the shorter size, but I think you do have a little bit of adjustment in that regard with the fold-over waist. And it does NOT have any built-in-shorts, so prepare accordingly if you're worried about it riding up during wear. But again, it looked darn good on my wife, and she reported it being comfortable, so that's about as good a review as I could hope for this skirt. Price wise, it was listed for $19.99 when I ordered it, which is about average for these types of skirts on Amazon.
