I'm 5' 5", when worn near my natural waist this barely covers by butt. In the images online the fabric looked dark navy, but it is black. The length and shape are not well represented in the images. I can tie it around my waist, but it's not wide enough for full coverage (I wear size 10 US for reference). This might work for someone very slender, but not for me. This sarong is very cute! But you need to be okay with a larger side slit, or side gap, let's call it. It does not fully close all the way around (on me anyway). I love the design, and initially couldn't tell if it was dark navy or black, and I can confirm that it is black.
