Nowhere does it say if it ships initially pre-filled with butane in the tank. I thought I saw it didn't include butane and maybe they meant no refill bottle? When we tried to fill ours with the refill bottle we bought at Lowes, it wouldn't form a tight seal and the butane sprayed back at me and that's why I *think* it came pre-filled but no refill tank. I didn't try to depress the fill nozzle out of the box to see if the tank was filled or empty first. I guess we will find out how long it burns with the way it is out of the box. I'm guessing it's safe to ship with the tank filled since the flame adjustment nozzle was covered secure and the unit was packed well in the box. Read more

What can I say? The price is right, and it’s a bad little torch. It’s butane obviously and the torch length is pretty long at full strength. The build quality is good, I actually got another one for my dad as a gift I thought they were made so well. It’s super light and functional. I don’t use it a ton but still 6 months later I haven’t had to refill it, so the it doesn’t burn through fuel that badly. Good little torch! Read more

I was excited to buy this torch because it had great reviews. I opened the box to fill it and butane just keeps leaking out of the fill point and drains until it is empty. That normally wouldn't warrant a bad review because things happen. In fact, I've already ordered a replacment so I get it right away and will give that one another fair reviw. The issue i have is Amazon will not allow me to return this item and I just received it 3 days ago. THIS IS A PROBLEM. I'm hoping somebody from the manufacture will read this and decide to send me one out because that would be the right thing to do. Read more
