Worth twice the price for the convenience of the USB A front-facing ports and the handy card reader (that actually takes full advantage of the read/write speeds of the SD card). Update (13 Jul 25) I noticed severe decreases in my WiFi speeds and power for the past few days. It drove me nuts trying to determine what was causing it. I went deep into the WiFi troubleshooters in MacOs, detached everything that was plugged in to the Thunderbolt ports on my M4 Pro, and nothing improved my connection. Finally, out of desparation, I unplugged RayCue device and my WiFi was instantly improved back to its normal use condition. I'm surprised that nobody else has reported this, so I only deducted one star from my initial review. As I previously said, the device functions spectacularly for its intended functions and I have had no problems with it other than the WiFi thing. It's odd but I thought I should mention it, in case anybody else experiences a similar problem. Given that my experience seems to be unique, I wouldn't want to discourage anybody from purchasing it because it really is great at doing what it was intended to do! Read more

Well-made device that makes it super-easy to connect USB-A and USB-C devices to your Apple Mac mini. It also has card readers that work equally well. My Mac mini is connected to an Apple Studio, and all their ports are on the back and not at all easy to access. This gadget solves that problem without being in the way or causing issues. I've been thinking of getting a stand for my mac mini m4 mostly because my extension hub which held my external hard drives would constantly say that it ejected. Since I installed this, it has not ejected once. I took someone else's review of making sure it clicked in properly for a sure fit. This took less space and gave me what I wanted as I already have an external 2 Terabyte hard drive. I love all the ports. It is sufficient enough. It is just plugged in with a need for its own power supply. It is not hot at all and time will tell on the durability. For the price point, it is perfection. Read more
