Everything good that heard is Absolutely True! An Amazing Limey, Coconut fragrance. Great projection and longevity, made for warm weather, and all at a great price! Opening starts with a thickness in the air that reminds me of a warm and heavy sun lotion. That is met with a Citrusy and Sweet Lime. This carries through to a Smooth Coconut. Ultimately, this a Fresh fragrance that will perform. Sweet and citrusy while being a smell I have not heard one person talk bad on. This is great and everyone loves it. Give this bad boy a try! Excellent perfume. This is supposed to be a dupe of the old batches of Creed Virgin Island Water (blue cap). Now, I must admit that I have never put my nose on the old batches nor new batches of VIW, but what i CAN tell you is that Aquatica is amazing on its own. The first 30 seconds of the opening can be harsh, yes, but the magic really starts to happen 10 minutes in and beyond. You get this beautiful, almost photorealistic lime that's blended beautifully with a sweet, warm coconut scent. Aquatica is marketed as a "freshie", which means that it should be worn in the summer. But I personally believe that this can be worn year round. Aquatica is deep enough that I can see myself wearing this in colder weather, and that's exactly what im doing in this freezing NYC weather. Aquatica is inoffensive. Wear it anywhere, anytime, any place. I personally wear this as my gym scent. It performs very well for a freshie. I get about a working 4-5 hours of good projection, and 8-9 hours as a skin scent with a subtle scent bubble surrounding you. Spray Aquatica on clothes to get much longer longevity. It's not BEAST mode, but it does last very well as a freshie. This will be in my daily summer rotation alongside Sospiro Vibrato (my baby), and LV imagination. I suggest you get a bottle as well. While im not one to fall into the clone hype, i firmly believe that the hype surrounding Aquatica is very much so valid. Read more

As it develops, the resemblance becomes even clearer. The mid leans into creamy coconut, soft white florals, and citrus brightness, which creates that smooth tropical blend that made Virgin Island Water so popular. It’s fresh but not sharp, and it keeps that laid-back island feel the whole way through. The drydown stays true to the profile. You get light musk, soft woods, and lingering coconut citrus, which keep it airy and easygoing rather than dense or sweet. It remains very wearable and very mood-driven. Where Aquatica really stands out is in how convincing the overall vibe is. In the air, it captures that VIW feeling extremely well. Most people will immediately recognize the tropical lime-coconut DNA. The key difference, at least to my nose, is the booze nuance. Virgin Island Water has that slight rum-like booziness that gives it extra character. Aquatica tones that down. It comes across cleaner and more straightforward, which some people may actually prefer. The other big talking point is performance. This is where Aquatica arguably improves on the original. Virgin Island Water is infamous for being beautiful but fleeting. Aquatica tends to deliver better longevity and more noticeable projection, which makes it easier to actually wear without constantly reapplying. Stylistically, this is very much a warm-weather fragrance. It works best for: - summer days - beach or pool settings - vacations - casual daytime wear - post-shower freshness It leans carefree and uplifting rather than refined or formal. I have not had the best luck in purchasing Dupes in the past, however this is my new favorite “interpretation” fragrance. It’s supposed to be inspired by Virgin Island Water, and man is it SUPER close! Everyone’s nose is different, but I say it’s 95% or more close to the original. In fact, I knew this bottle was arriving today and put on the real thing as my scent of the day, sprayed Aquatica on my wrist once it arrived, and I swear I couldn’t tell the difference.
