The Razer BlackShark V3 X HyperSpeed is an outstanding wireless gaming headset that nails the balance between comfort, performance, and reliability. From the moment you put it on, the lightweight design and plush ear cushions make it feel barely there, even during marathon gaming sessions. It’s built for players who spend hours in front of their screen but don’t want any distraction from pressure or heat buildup. Sound quality is impressive across the board. Got these to replace my old wired Logitech G Pro X headset. Thes are lighter and more comfortable. They don't press my hair down where it looks like I've been wearing headphones for 6 hours. I get no fatigued in them. The battery lasts so damn long. The sound is good, loud, equalizer helps a lot! Since they are so light we'll see how durable they end up being. I've only used them in wireless mode with the dongle so far. Haven't tested Bluetooth yet. The mic is OK. There's no mic boost and options are limited. The noise suppression works really good. The mic sounds clear while testing but seems kind of quiet. People on discord tell me that it is sometimes as I think you have to put it right up to your lips almost. For the price point, you really can't beat these. Especially since you can hook them up to computer, consoles, phones etc. Discord certified as well. Read more

This is hands down the best wireless headset I've tried so far. There's practically zero noticable latency and the sound quality is great, not to mention the mic quality is amazing. I love that it has on-board audio and voice backend controls and a mic mute button on the back. The battery lasts a very long time (but I still instinctuay plug it in when I'm not using it). And I love that you can seamlessly swap between the dongle and bluetooth, so I could swap between my PC and my phone if I so desired. They're also really comfortable on my big head, one of the most comfy headsets I've owned even. They aren't even heavy either. I've only had it for a few weeks now and I already love it. My one and only complaint is that the mic is removable instead of being attached and having a twist-up feature to hide it from view like some headsets do, and I am scared of removing it from the jack because I don't want to wear down the connection over time. But this is such a nothing complaint that I can't help but give it 5 stars regardless. And yes, I bought the cat ears for it haha If you're thinking about buying it, then I say you should go for it. You're NOT gonna find a better headset within this price range Read more

Here’s a review for the Razer BlackShark V3 X HyperSpeed, hitting all your points! Razer BlackShark V3 X HyperSpeed: A Wireless Contender with Jaw-Dropping Battery Life **Rating: ★★★★☆ (4 out of 5 stars)** As someone who spends countless hours gaming, communication and comfort are non-negotiables. I recently got my hands on the Razer BlackShark V3 X HyperSpeed, and after putting it through its paces, I have some solid thoughts to share. It truly shines in several key areas, though there are a couple of points I hope Razer addresses in future iterations. The High Points (What I Absolutely Loved): 1. Microphone Quality - Simply Stellar! Seriously, the mic on this headset is a showstopper. My teammates noticed the upgrade immediately. My voice comes through crystal clear, without any noticeable compression or background noise. For competitive gaming or even just casual chats on Discord, this mic ensures every call-out and joke lands perfectly. It's a huge step up from many other gaming headsets I've tried. 2. Unbelievable 70-Hour Battery Life This is where the BlackShark V3 X HyperSpeed truly blows the competition out of the water. The advertised 70 hours of battery life* isn't just marketing fluff – it's real! I can go for days, sometimes even a week or more, of regular gaming sessions without needing to plug it in. This freedom from constantly worrying about charging is incredibly liberating and a massive win for marathon gaming sessions. 3. Seamless Communication Beyond the excellent mic, the overall communication experience is rock-solid. The HyperSpeed wireless connection is incredibly stable, providing a lag-free and consistent connection. I've experienced no dropouts or stutters, which is crucial for intense gaming moments where every second counts. 4. Comfort if Your head is circle Razer has done a fantastic job with the comfort aspect. The headset is surprisingly lightweight, and the plush earcups are incredibly soft and breathable. I can wear these for hours on end – during long gaming sessions, work calls, or watching movies – without any discomfort or ear fatigue. It truly feels like it disappears on your head. Areas for Improvement (Where It Could Be Better): 1. Gaming EQ Can Be Detrimental This was a bit of a head-scratcher for me. While I appreciate the inclusion of gaming EQ profiles, I found some of them to be overly aggressive or poorly tuned, often making the audio sound harsh, tinny, or even muddy, rather than enhancing it. Instead of giving me a competitive edge, it sometimes felt detrimental to the overall sound quality. I often found myself reverting to a flatter profile or manually tweaking things to get a more balanced sound. 2. Lack of Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) In a bustling household or a noisy gaming environment, the absence of ANC is noticeable. While the earcups offer decent passive noise isolation, a proper active noise cancellation feature would have really elevated the immersion. I occasionally found myself distracted by ambient sounds, wishing I could completely tune out the outside world. 3. Lack of Firmware Updates This is probably my biggest frustration. Since its launch, there seems to have been a noticeable absence of firmware updates. Ongoing firmware support is crucial for bug fixes, performance improvements, and potentially even refining those EQ profiles. It feels a bit like a "set it and forget it" situation from Razer, and I hope they address this with more consistent updates in the future. Final Verdict: The Razer BlackShark V3 X HyperSpeed is a truly compelling wireless gaming headset, especially if **microphone clarity, unparalleled battery life, and long-session comfort** are your top priorities. It's a fantastic daily driver for communicating with your squad and enjoying uninterrupted gaming. However, if you're an audiophile who expects finely tuned EQ presets out of the box or if active noise cancellation is a must-have for your environment, you might find yourself wishing for a bit more. Despite these minor drawbacks, it offers excellent value for its core strengths. Read more
