I ordered this for our teen son who like to race friends, although not on the professional level, and was really impressed to discover when it arrived that it's better than expected. He loves it too, and actually has strapped a small camera on it to film his different runs. I didn't realize it could handle such rough terrain while also going at lightning fast speed. So this is a very powerful fun remote control vehicle that handles surprisingly well enabling you to make tight smooth moves with precision, especially considering it's not going over flat even surfaces most of the time. It does well over just about anything - we've tried it on deep grass, wet surfaces, sandy, rocky, doesn't matter. You can shift through 3 speeds, control the lights, and it's waterproof / weatherproof, comes with 2 batteries, tune-up supplies, and you can change out the shell so the vehicle can be blue or red, which is nice if you're racing against someone who has a similar colored car. I like cars like these because they're perfect to introduce newcomers to the rc hobby . It's a fun little car with a decent amount of speed . It's not what Id consider a fast car but it's plenty fast for anyone if this is their first car . The speed is manageable the car has great traction but you can also do some drifting depending on the surface . It's a nice performing little car and it's brushless which is awesome ! It can also take a bit of a beating which is great . I'm surprised I haven't broken the wing yet . The battery life is pretty average and of course depends on how hard you run it .
