I like this little sport radio
I like this little sport radio. I've had it now about six weeks. I got this to replace my Colby sport radio because I like to listen to radio while I'm out running (no more Colby Co.). It uses rechargeable batteries. It picks up all the AM & FM stations and stays on the channel. It was a little awkward at first because it orients across my arm rather than lengthwise, but I got used to it quickly. The earphones that came with it, were too large to stay in my ears while I ran, so I switched to my earbuds from the old radio. I found the instructions to set up the preset stations a little sketchy, but I was able to quickly figure it out. This radio is water/sweat resistant, and like the Colby, I expect the contacts in the battery compartment will corrode and rust out after a couple of years. In the Colby, one of the (-) spring contacts rusted out and broke off after 21/2 years, but all of the contacts were corroded. South LA has long hot, humid, sweaty Summers, so I think it lasted long enough for the price and I think this one will too. Read more
Piece of junk
I have had this radio for 2 weeks! It stopped working today. I was listening to a local radio station and lost transmission. I replaced the batteries but no radio. I have tried AM and FM stations. No sound. I can hear ghost noise or whatever you may want to call it so I know the ear buds are working. I am very disappointed in this and won't buy another RCA product. Read more
