This is a great "clock radio". Love all the sound options and the volume options. The display can be dimmed almost to off so you can set it to whatever brightness works for you. The alarm works great, can be set to any sound, not just the sound it's set to play normally. And yes it will play the alarm instead of the regular sound in the morning, so you can go to sleep to ocean and wake up to birds if you want. The wireless charging works on my Samsung phone, Tozo earbuds and Pixel 10 phone. It even works with Pixelsnap and locks the phone right in place to charge. No fussing with getting it right on there to charge properly. Assuming it works with iPhone too. This is my favorite alarm clock!! It’s small and efficient. I love that I can just set my phone on top of it and it charges- fast! I can choose the brightness of the clock and easily access the alarm button. The digital clock is easy to read and clear to see. I love the colors- nice and neutral. Great clock for the price! It's a good alarm clock and the magsafe charging works fine. Just wish it would be a fast charger since it takes time to charge my phone and I have to sometimes plug in my phone to my fast charger when i'm super low instead. Read more

The white finish looks very nice. Initially I purchased the wood grain finish but I thought it did not look good (the wood looked very orange and artificial). My phone is a Google Pixel 9a that I keep in a case and the wireless charging feature on this alarm clock works GREAT (I tried several other alarm clocks that failed to charge the phone). I cannot overstate how helpful it is that the display brightness can be controlled from 0 - 100%. Several other alarm clocks that I tried have 4 or 5 fixed brightness levels and the settings were either too dim or too bright. The built-in white noise sounds are effective. I love everything about this clock. It's like a swiss-army clock. I always use the charging pad, the clock light is dimmable, the sleep sounds are clear and there are plenty to choose from and have independent volume control, and the only thing that this doesn't have (battery backup) I don't even care about because by the time any of my other clocks lose power due to a storm the batteries are always somehow dead anyways so who cares?!
