Real Essentials 3 Pack Womens Ribbed High Waisted Maxi Skirt with Side Slit - Casual Long Pencil Skirt

I am a lover of simple, pull-on pencil maxi skirts in lots of colors, and these skirts check every box. The ribbed material has a nice thickness - not heavy or bulky, but not see-through either, with a nice thick elastic waistband. They pull on easily, are super comfortable, and have a nice flattering hug fit. I am 5'6 270 with a heavy stomach and always worry about waistline fit, but the XX-Large fits perfectly and comfortably, and the length is true maxi hitting right around the ankle, with none of that crazy length that covers your feet and pools on the floor like so many skirts these days, which I will never understand. Also, if you are not a fan of the side split, that is easily remedied with a quick stitch down the side; I altered 11 skirts in about 30 minutes. The only criticisms I have are the packaging by sets - all of which include a black skirt, and the lack of color identification and clarity in the sets; it would be so much better if the skirts were sold separately with a clear color name so that you can purchase the exact colors you want. I purchased a total of 5 sets to get all of the colors I wanted, then had to give away 4 of the black skirts as they were not needed. I’m 5’4” love the blue and black skirts! They are cute and perfect to wear with sandals and are very comfortable. The black and blue skirts are opaque and cannot see through them, although the salmon color skirt shows the outline of my underwear too much, so I gave that one away. I'm 5'2" and weigh 122 pounds. I could not be happier with the quality and fit of these skirts. The fabric is soft. It's not to thick or too thin. They are not see through. The weight of the material is a good weight. I ordered a Size Small and they fit perfect. The length is perfect as well. They hit at my ankles. I would highly recommend these skirts. Read more

These are not anything fancy, but they are comfy and great. You can dress down with flip flops or throw on some heels and dress them up. The rib knit gives enough stretch but doesn’t stretch out. They are not too thick but they are not thin either. No signs of knee stretch spots from sitting! They wash great but know you get what you are paying for, they won’t last long and they are not lined and the waistband is simple elastic, but at this price they are fantastic! I love the fit, the stretch is perfect! The material is perfect! Colors are nice! Shirt flows nicely! I bought the medium- I’m 150lbs and 5’2. My hips are not real large. If you have large hips go up a size. I plan to order more colors! Ps the blue in the picture is brighter than what I received, but I like the color. Read more
