I’m so glad I grabbed this 3-pack of Real Essentials women’s sweat shorts! These have quickly become my go-to shorts for lounging, errands, and even light workouts. The material is ultra-soft, lightweight, and comfy without being too thin or see-through. They feel like the kind of shorts you want to live in all summer long. The fit is relaxed and true to size, and I love that they’re available in plus sizes too. The waistband is stretchy and comfortable, and it stays in place without rolling. And the pockets are actually useful—deep enough for a phone, keys, or whatever you’re carrying around the house. They wash really well, no shrinking or fading so far. Wasn't expecting a ton from these shorts based on the price, but they exceeded my expectations. For inexpensive cotton shorts, these are pretty good. I did get a pack that had one lighter color and too dark. The lighter color as long as you wear nude underwear or something very light you'll be safe, but you still might see a panty line if you are wearing a normal cut undergarment. They are a little bit thin but again for the price it's kind of what I expected. The darker colors I had no problem with anything being see-through and they did not write up and the elastic waistband is really well done, very comfortable and I do like that the tie is a matching color. Overall these would be really good for going out and doing whatever you want in the summer, wearing around the house or even as pajamas. I might order a couple other colors just so that they could be lounge as well as outerwear. I would buy these again. They're very soft, I would say to treat these more on the delicate end when you wash them, and I would think by the material that if you added fabric softener, contrary to most people's belief of fabric softener that it would create a buildup and these would end up getting pilly and looking like they're older than they were. So I would lay them flat to dry even though I don't think it's completely necessary and I don't think that they're going to shrink. I think just with how thin they are it's probably your best bet for getting longevity if you wanted that. Plus the seams are well stitched but again so the end parts don't roll up it would probably be best to just lay them flat. The pockets are actually a good depth as well if that's important to you. Pros- these are SO soft! Very lightweight and comfy Cons- they ride up on the inner leg with every step you take! So taking the dog out, I’m not stop pulling them out from gathering on my inner thighs. So annoying. I will them because I need comfy shorts around the house but if given the chance, I would have ordered something else. They fit great with a little extra room. These run a little large. Material is soft and comfortable. Elasticsted waist with drawstring means that even if they are little loose they won't fall down. Nice to have pockets that are large enough to hold a smartphone. Read more
When I received my first order of these shorts (drk green, blk, lt pink set) I couldn't believe how soft and comfortable they felt! So I ended up ordering another set (lt peach, gray, blk). Since it's really hard to tell the difference with the light colors, I took a pic of them side by side. Not sure if you can tell the difference because it's very subtle, but this set (w/ the gray) is a very light peach color... versus the first set I bought has a light pinky undertone color to it. I ordered these to wear around the house, but they can be worn casually outdoors. I held up the light colors to my window and you cannot see through them. I also ordered mine 2 sizes larger since they have drawstrings, mostly because I prefer loose fitting shorts.
