This thing is awesome. The stand sets up quickly, the battery lasts a long time. It has several brightness settings for whatever you need. We used it as a camp light in a cabin without electricity and each “leg” being able to point in a slightly different direction gave us great coverage. When we had to venture out in the woods to dig a side by side out of the mud, we grabbed this off the stand as a flashlight. It can also be a battery bank. Absolutely worth the money. Read more

The tripod is pretty stable. It is not something i would use on an industrial job site, but it will do fine for light commercial projects and any residential project. The 3 light head puts out a fantastic amount of light. I was working in a pitch black area and it was awesome. The heads swivel up and down and they rotate as well, so you can concentrate all 3 heads into one direction. Very useful!! As a camp light, this will generate a lighted area of probably 20' - 30' diameter of excellent illumination, and another 20' - 30' of decent illumination. I have not tested it for length of burn time, but i dont doubt it will last a while. It also has different illumination settings Hi - low and flashing... I guess the flashing would be an excellent rescue beacon at night. With the heads aimed upwards I would think arial recon (Plane or Helo) would see it from many miles away if a rescue was needed.
