The product comes in a box with instructions and eight rechargeable AAA batteries. If you remove the orange AAA compartment, you can charge AA batteries. The AA batteries are sold separately. Regardless, it is convenient to have both AA and AAA charging ports. You can charge both Ni-MH and Li-ion batteries. The instructions are very informative; they tell you when the batteries are charging and when they are ready. They also tell you if the batteries are incompatible. They work great, and I would recommend them. I would even buy from this brand again. Read more

I bought to use with my wifi thermometers, after charging the batteries, when I installed them my device said charge was medium, I replaced the batteries with regular batteries and they show high. I tried them with 4 other devices, same result. Read more
